Do you really think that climate change is new to this planet? Of course we contributed to the pollution of the atmosphere, but do you really think it matters that much? We are on a small planet, supposedly spinning on an axis, hurtling through space at 7000 miles an hour and traversing through many different levels of radiation. Magnetized poles that are supposed to flip every 3000 years or so, who knows how often. Volcano's everywhere, earthquakes with gases escaping from them, daily.
originally posted by: forthelove Do you really think that the climate has not changed millions of times in every orifice of this planet? Recorded history for most of us is only as long as we have been alive, which for the average person might be 75 years, so yeah the climate is changing and will continue to change regardless of human control, we have only geological references to look at for records of the past climate changes over the the last 4 billion years and according to most, humans have not been around that long, so, why do you think we can do anything to stop it or that we are at some fault for it happening?
originally posted by: forthelove Can it not just be a natural occurrence that cause this to happen regularly? Of course it can and most likely is something that happens very often in the Universe and billions of galaxies everywhere, because it is what it is.

In our lifetime. We are not privy to billions of years of empirical data that can be verified. All of it is supposition and conjecture mostly with some kind of agenda attached. I am merely making it a point to suggest emphatically that there is no way to pin all of the climate changes on current human consumption of energy. Energy has been around longer than humans and has caused many changes without us.

Seriously? Are you going to suggest that celestial interference is NOT possible? Where is it you think we are? In some protective bubble of a condom protected from the STD's of space? Look up, look around we are surrounded by a multitude of randomness and choreographed celestial bodies from every direction as we fly through space, really? Okay, I suppose critical thinking is not a strong suit for many along with common sense.

Again, please prove your assertion that the "change in the ozone could just as easily be caused by other factors"
I'm looking for proof, not conjecture or insults.
