The worst part is that sovereign nations no longer can make their own decisions. It is another reason the U.K. and their voters are my heroes for
voting themselves out of this corrupt cluster of the E.U.
I put my two pence in, and added a PS at the end, to voice my disgust at the possibility of any government allowing the net to be speed managed in
service to corporate needs, and to make clear my utter lack of surprise that the EU government is the sort of coporate whore I always believed it was.
I also laughed in their faces that the only reason I got to say anything about this at all, is because the convoluted method by which my nation will
be leaving the EU, means that we were not out from the word go.
I do enjoy giving the EU government the finger, and that's twice in as many weeks! What a great month I am having!
I live in the Netherlands... we did get a referendum way back.. on the European Constitution.. we did say no ...and got #ed.
Then we voted an EU criticism in office.. euh.. almost.. because het got murdered.. just before the elections...
Recently we had a referendum about the Ukraine.. we said no... en.. wel ... not sure if we are getting #ed... the government just refuses to
comment...
Funny thing.. working together as nations.. all my Blessings...!
But every atom of my body feels the current setup called Eu is not there for the people.
It's years of nonsense like that which made my nation elect to leave.
If the votes results are not respected by our government, or by the government of the EU, there will be trouble, and I say that with no relish what
so ever. What I would like is for the exit to be managed sensibly by all concerned, and expedited so as not to drag on.
Any failure to implement the exit now, would be tantamount to treason and incitement to riot, and I would have to insist that our government be
arrested on the spot if they fail to follow the instructions of the people in that matter.
I agree with you completely as a fellow Brit and an Brexit voter (not for migration I have to put that in because I've had nothing but "You're a
racist" for the last two and a half days. Don't ya love the net). The EU needs to act like a grown up Union and say fine you wanna leave then go but
here are our terms and then be willing to negotiate. I'm sure though they'll be playing hardball to screw up anyone else planning to start a leave
campaign.
Just the start to take away freedom of speech by first messing with websites that are non establishment kosha.
I thought the E.U. was pushing for internet users to have a Government I.D. to access the internet which would basically be a 3 strikes and you are
out and an excellent way of shutting down the speech of whistle blowers, dissidents and people opposing draconian policies, migration influxes and new
tax laws etc.
