According to "U.S. Officials", the Obama Administration is set to announce some kind of total civilian death count for all the drone strikes since 2009.

Obama seems to think the count is around 100.

But this article cites other sources that come up with higher tallies.

I imagine it would be beneficial for Obama to somehow "prove" a low count.

Interesting conflict of count.

Report: Obama 'Admin' To Announce 'Low count' Civilian Casualties From Drone Strikes

Next week, the Obama Administration is expected to announce the civilian death totals from America’s targeted killing campaign by drone. The number will be low. The administration “believes around 100 civilians have died in nearly 500 U.S. drone strikes since 2009,” U.S. officials told NBC.

Reporting on casualties in conflicts, especially ones where everyone involved has a vested interest in some competing version of the truth, is tricky. In 2013, one estimate of the campaign at that point held 3,000 total casualties from drone strikes, with reasonable certainty that at least 700 or so were civilians and children.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, a nonprofit that’s covered the casualties of the drone war for years, found between 259 and 636 reported civilian deaths from drone strikes in Pakistan alone. The Bureau also maintains records for strikes in Yemen and Somalia, and notes that children as a percentage of drone strike casualties decreased greatly over time.

Well, that's some good news Obama can trumpet...

Any time Obama quotes 'figures' ?

He is pulling them from where the sun don't shine.

That More people than 'gun violence'.

Still more from 'Gun violence'.

But seriously.

Quote a lower number of civilian deaths and passing it off as something 'good'.

There should be ZERO civilian deaths.

So how about some 'Drone Control' ?

Hey as long as it's a "low count" of innocent people, why not?

Make sure we all throw our support behind Hillary so we can ensure that we keep having "low counts" of murderous remote indiscriminate bombings of innocent people via a cell phone.

Whenever Obama announces anything at all, it has historically meant that the opposite is actually true. Even his staunchly delusioned supporters know this, but since murdering children and countless lies and broken promises don't matter to them, they continue along with sparkly eyes singing his praises like befuddled zombies.

Interesting conflict of count.

If they are "his" numbers he can do what he wants with em...After all , they are a consensus of all the tiny little voices inside his head.

I guess the question is: Is he this ignorant, or does he think the people of the USA are that ignorant? I see many news articles saying we bombed the ISIS and they seem to think it was a victory we got like 5-10 of them....... So $100,000's in bombs and we got 5-10... Out of 200,000 plus of them. 200,000 Obama can't admit to.

I really do not know what BS is going on over there but we all need to get some neck high water proof waders in order to survive the amount of BS coming from the Obama administration.
