We know a number of people scared by the Brexit outcome. They've been convinced that they will have to leave the country as a result. For people set on bringing up their children here it's a devastating blow. I personally think a lot of scaremongering went on, but I'm not in that position so I wouldn't know.

Can I ask that we all show sympathy for those who feel their entire future is at stake following the Brexit vote.

You guys will be fine. There are a whole bunch of free and independent countries around the world that aren't in the EU. You guys are better than those dirty Eurotrash bureaucrats anyway.

Of course we'll be fine. Most of us have our own problems in life to deal with which trump international politics.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised about politicians lying. It's what they do, but the British public deserved an honest debate free from lies and threats

What's important now is to make sure we take this chance and make something of our country.

It's never been more important to give serious consideration to who we vote for in the next election.

Those on the leave side are down, I get that, but we are all Britons and now is a time to really pull together.

There is no need to be scared and the majority of the U.K citizens have demonstrated this,

It's a new dawn for the U.K, but let's be honest there is a whole world out there to trade with, without the shackles of the E.U.

Personally, I believe the E.U is dead in the water and other countries will now follow Britain's lead.

I know people who are from other countries who wanted to spend there lives here. They will be devastated thinking this result will mean they have to leave, because that's the scaremongering tactics that were used on them. There'll be a lot like that and they need a bit of reassurance.

Well, if they are already here they can stay, they are protected by the Vienna convention of 1969. Tell them that.

Everyone living here right now is a Briton.

I can't wait for all the high finance jobs to move back to the continent.

On the other hand it sucks that I will need a visa to visit my British friends now. And it sucks for the British students that they won't have access to the Erasmus project anymore.

Personally I think it was a really though choice and I respect the will of the British people and wish them the best in the long and difficult process that's about to come.

Also I urge them to remain united despite the great risk to see an even greater fracture between two different social classes in Britain.

You're right, it is no longer the 19th Century, there is a whole world to trade with.

We will get our seat back on the WTO, without bowing and feeding off the scraps the E.U give us.

We can make our own laws that effect U.K citizens, and take control of who we allow into the U.K.

This is a victory for democracy, whatever way you look at it.

I think we're all scared by the Brexit result , we as a country have taken a leap in the dark in the hope for a better future.
My thoughts and hopes are for the citizens of my country not for the visitors , they have somewhere else to go in the event of things going belly up.

Calm down everyone, nothing is going to change for at least 2 years in which time we should be properly out and certainly not alone. The voting figures, which were far higher than for a General Election have made it clear to the government that we want change.

I suspect the biggest changes we will see will be in the EU which is already tottering and can't afford to loose British cash, so I would be watching there and especially countries such as Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands and even France etc who also want the right to vote on an exit from the EU.

The Germans are negotiating keeping our markets so calm down. I don't doubt cameron and co will do their best to punish those who voted out by some nefarious means claiming results due to leaving EU, but don't be fooled.

If you look at London especially you see a capital city with over 50% immigrant and obviously many wanting more of their families and friends to walz in. I suspect the politicians had their eyes firmly on 'London thinking only" and are clearly out of touch with a huge amounts of the rest of England and Wales. They are learning the mistake of loosing the respect and confidence of the British public at large. I hope this shakes up our parliament good and proper.

Dont be so sure other would want to leave after they see what kind of crap you have gotten yourself in to. You guys will probably manage, you're too big and important to fail but dont expect countries like Denmark, Netherlands, Hungary etc to follow. All of them would go bankrupt in a matter of days if they were to leave the union, you can be certain of that.

So this is really a question about immigration? You want a higher wall?

Your economy will take a dive, most of your middle class will get wiped out.. You need to force your own people into simple low wager jobs..

That is the initial cost..
