Just a theoretical: Say a guy has his name run --> warrants show and he is pulled over. Inside is the body of your mom/sister/brother (pick one ),
a murder weapon, and a notebook written by him explaining his crazy plans. It turns out he snatched the person off a rural road, so no evidence of
the crime exists elsewhere.
I don't have the answer to this, but I would be in favor of this interpretation being allowable if the evidence turns into a homicide-level case. The
current interpretation is way too broad and far-reaching though IMO.
