Maybe you discovered that for people in power the truth doesn't matter.

If you remember, after getting a lecture from Jesus about "truth", Pontius Pilate the governor of Judaea, simply said,

"Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?" -- KJV, John 18:38

That attitude of people in positions of power hasn't changed in 2000 years of civilization.

Truth is what you make it to be.

Remember, George Bush "There are Weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq, we must invade!"

What does a person in power need to care about truth?

It only gets in the way of the exercise of power.

The problem is, especially here, you simply are not allowed to believe only a part of the 9/11 "conspiracy theories". You're either all in, or you're a shill. I just gave up. The thought that if I believe any part of the official story (I do), I have to believe (or be labeled as to believing) the entire OS is simply ridiculous, so I decided to bail out on it completely.

Do we know the whole, accurate story of that day? No. Does that mean it was a giant false flag cover up perpetrated intentionally by our own government? Absolutely not. It's silly to disallow the entirely of the giant gap in reality between those two conclusions.

There was no need for alert fighters, thats why only a handful of bases had them...

We dont have bombers sitting alert anymore either because the need (big bad guy somewhere else with a strong airforce) is non-existent.

It takes time to load a fighter, you have to bring the weapons out of storage, you have reams of paperwork that needs to be done, you have to load them on the aircraft, you have to have a plane that has been pre-flighted... what good is a plane if the hydraulics system doesnt work.

Then you have to know where to send them... during the height of the cold war the plane that hit the pentagon would have been intercepted... heck the planes that hit the WTC would have been intercepted... in peace time with us on good terms with the russians... there was no chance.

No need for figher jets to protect the US? Tell that to the victim's families of 9/11 in the building that collapsed or the families of those killed in the pentagon. Many people died that day. Blaming the Russians for not have an Air Force is another crazy conpiracy

Charlie is a man of many parts.

Here he is pre-activist days.

His way of describing Ian Tomlinson should interest many Brits.

And yet again point out where I blamed Russia for "not having an Air Force" or even having an Alert Force. I'll wait. Maybe if you learned to read more than a line or two that says what you want it to, you'd comprehend what I have been saying.

The alert force wasn't designed to stop aircraft already in the US. It was designed all along to stop aircraft from outside the US from getting into the US. If they were going to be looking at aircraft within the US, then NORAD wouldn't be tied to FAA radar for almost all their radar coverage.

So you think every base that has fighters should have crews sitting armed alert?

Is that what you are saying..

The smoking gun for me was when President George Bush blocked the "911 Commission" from investigating what happened.

If you already know what happened, then you don't need to waste money and time investigating what took place.

The only way to know what happened, so soon after the event, is to have planned the event yourself. Everybody else wants to "find out", because they don't know.

Jesus, you really do twist crap don't you. I didn't say the Air Force, did I, I said the ALERT force. If you bothered to do anything but twist things into what you want to say, and have massive reading comprehension problems, and did research, you would find that all of the historic alert bases, from the time they were established were on or near the coasts, where they could respond to threats outside the US that were inbound to the US. They weren't meant to stop hijacked aircraft in the US, because before 9/11 there were no suicide attacks using hijacked aircraft. The hijackers told the crews to land somewhere and made demands.

And also, unlike you, I don't have to look them up, I've actually put my hands on F-15s and worked on them. I know their capabilities a hell of a lot better than you do.

You know a lot more than I do? I find that interesting because you failed to answer all seven of my original questions.

And if you know so much about fighter aircraft then you would know they are capable of downing other aircrafts. Is the point of having a fighter jet. #facts matter

Never mind, you're just going to keep twisting what I say into something else. Don't know why I bothered to try again, when you're not interested in discussion.

All of those questions have answers none of which are classified

Also my point was that you should be researching the answers for yourself to inform your views.

Are you suggesting that on 9/11 the east coast (maybe all of the mainland US) was protected by unarmed fighters and no one was held accountable?

You act like there should be armed troops on every street corner 'just in case'.
You have no clue how military defense works.
I suggest you look at South Korea.
The majority of their defense forces are stationed near the DMZ.
They have no air defense for the interior of the country.
Their foe is to the north, so that's where you find their forces.

Now ask yourself does the US have enemies from within? no
All our adversaries are external.
Which means we watch the radars pointing outside the US.
We listen to the ocean microphones placed miles from shore.

Please tell us how a fighter pilot in 2001 could identify one Delta flight from another.

Again the point I have been making is that rather than making statements like "most of what happened is classified" you should be doing your own research.

I could answer your questions but they are just more of the same I have spent years on ATS answering.

I am not going to waist my time writing up a huge post to appease someone who doesn't even bother to do their own research only for you to then ask yet more questions, nit pick and twist what I say.
