My 2013 Audi will engage the Eebrake under circumstances such as anytime you lift your weight off of the seat under certain speeds. It happens often around the driveway or at the mailbox.

I'm sure there is a thorough explanation of it in the manual, if I had one.

Thanks for pointing this out! It's sad that the software fix wasn't introduced earlier. This www.msn.com... article says that 41 people have reported being injured due to the strange behavior of the gear shifter. Anton Yelchin was the first death.

It's sad that companies often times don't feel a recall is worth it, unless someone dies. And then, they only do the recall because they fear lawsuits... not because the company actually cares about anyone's well-being.
