Philadelphia Becomes 1st Major American City with Soda Tax

I love how everybody bitching about the tax a city decided for themselves to do is saying it's anti-poor people. Oblivious IDIOTS say this, because when I WAS poor, I couldn't afford the soda in the first place. If the 12 cents on a can of soda does you in financially, you should be reconsidering your eating-to-live priorities. BTDT, it's not a bad habit to get into.

Bottom line -- their city, their choice, You don't live there, so it's not going to have any impact on thou.
