I always browse recent posts. At the top of the page there's a button that says off topic. Click that and you get recent BTS posts.

I know right haHA, 8 YEARS almost. just tripped up on the format. If you have noticed my lack of attendance in the BTS arena, though i see i may enjoy even more than i do ATS.

I'm sure I've seen you on ATS quite a bit, but you just haven't visited BTS, is that right?

I have been on BTS years ago, even done a thread or two but not recently. with ATS, i know whats going on, and i know what input i want to give, but my difficulty lies in between the brain and the keyboard. there a some great minds on ATS most of which i can not compete with
)

i used to chat with you and other when we had the old chat room

Oh I know we chatted!

I just was confused how you didn't know how to get to BTS

We need more normal Aussies on the board again, its overrun with Yank political crazies, so don't think you have nothing to say!

Aaaaaa! This is making me crazy. I'm not sure how it fits with the clues, but it sure sounds like an old slide projector carousel advancing and dropping in the next slide. This sound bite is slower than the one in the OP, but what do you think? freesound.org...

Along those same lines, might it be a View Master?

Clue #4. You don't have to be a master thief

This makes me think it is unlocking something, which it obviously sounds like..

I googled "Traveling Wilburys + unlock"

and found this:
THE ALL-TRUE STORY OF THE TRAVELING WILBURYS
9poundhammer.blogspot.com/2008/07/all-true-story-of-traveling-wilburys.html

"More on the name: According to Professor "Bobby" Sinfield, the name originates "from the various Wilbury Fairs which traveled Europe in Medieval times, titillating the populace with contemporary ballads, or were they rather derived from, “YE TRAVELING WILBURYS”, who were popular locksmiths during the Crusades and used to pick or unlock the jammed chastity belts"

Maybe it's a chastity belt? But "No Key" hmmm...

(And I'm in Denver, Colorado USA)
