I'm trying to think kitchen and if I was in my kitchen that is the closest sound I could come up with. Some kind of utensils hitting against each other. But I think they want exact so I went with fork in the silverware drawer. LOL

Has anyone said the igniter on the stove?

I'm not sure what, if anything, that would have to do with the other clues.

So how big is the jackpot from pulling the lever on that slot machine so far or the one armed bandit? If that's a win keep the cash for a better used car.

Cheers.

Wedding bells and whatever with the other clues... I have good auditory and tactile memory the clues are actually a distraction to me.

Here's an example of a slot machine.

Thanks, I thought the pinball and billiards table slot were good choices. Of course the recording for the sound I used as an example is a digital version of the actual noise making it a bit higher pitched... than the example one that was likely recorded directly off of the machine. Some types of slot machines have that rachet sound that has nothing to do with hip-hop unless filming a video in Vegas.

I thought 'fry like an eagle' was referring to the song parody.

I think now it may have been a reference to Glenn Frey.

Closing of a kitchen drawer? Sound effect can be found here, number 17 = Closing drawer.

Good to see the guesses again

Glenn Frey was an avid golfer. "Eagle" is a golf term. Maybe the ball we're hearing is a golf ball being returned with some sort of contraption? There's many different ones. But it doesn't match the previous clues as far as I can tell. Or completely unrelated to golf and it is a turkey fryer being loaded, ya know, fry like an eagle?

A (kitchen) hand mixer, beaters release (unlock) sound?

Only 2 clues I find very difficult to fit in: you don't have to be a masterthief and cheers to the great navigator. The other clues I'm desperately trying to solve with either cake, beaters or mixing.

One more sleepless night coming up
