Orlando Shooting claims of no evidence

What I have an issue with and would like to point out is that you can see pictures of the outside of the night club with bullets riddled everywhere. So I think that the gunman didn't kill and injure all of these people maybe some of them but it was mainly the police which is why even to this day they are not releasing information on the shooting. Does anyone else think that this a plausible explanation?
