British man got a new passport, then realized he looked like Hitler

Stuart Boyd, a 50-year-old former paramedic from the British city of Manchester, had ordered a new passport ahead of a planned July holiday in Greece. When he received it, though, he was horrified by what he saw. His photo's imaging within the document's pages made him look alarmingly like Adolf Hitler

"I was really angry when I saw it. I was distraught, really," Boyd told the Manchester Evening News, once he was made aware of his likeness to genocidal Nazi leader. "I just thought, ‘Oh, for God’s sake, I have to have this for 10 years and they can’t even get it right.' "

That is hilarious. I didn't jump through the hoop to read the article, but the image is glorious. If he has it changed, it will be a multitude of comical opportunities missed. I would keep that passport forever.

Okay, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

If you're sporting stubble, it can turn out darker in the photo.

Bit of trivia. Hitler got the idea for his moustache from watching Charlie Chaplin films.

He resembles Hitler anyway. It looks like his kind of large nose is casting a shadow on his upper lip. Haha..

I used to take and process passport photos for the USAF when I was younger and before the digital age. Personally I think the photo is a riot but I can see why the guy is upset. It looks like some kind of error in the process added onto to the shape of his face. I'm pretty sure the UK Passport Office will issue him a new passport and replace the photo to solve his concerns. However, how would you like to be a customs officer in Greece looking at a passport pic of Hitler. "Sir, there's a problem please step this way...".

I believe it's an artifact from a shadow (probably from his nose?). It's not facial hair though.

If you look like your passport photo, you need the vacation.
