An Islamofascist terrorist suspect who fought for the Taliban in Afghanistan, was arrested in Pakistan by Pakistani police, and held in Guantanamo Bay, may run for parliament in the UK. Those who don't like the idea can go to jail according to a an "incitement to religious hatred" bill. The brilliant idea of turning a jihadi into a MP comes from Vanessa Redgrave, who had called judges who opposed her best actress award for Julia "Zionist hoodlums," paid the bail of Chechen envoy Akhmed Zakaev, had come to the defence of the Beslan terrorists on the night of their child-killing attack, and made a film called "The Palestinian" in which she praised suicide bombers.

Good for him! If he does run and gets enough support from the british public, we will see how democratic our society really is. I doubt though, that in Britian he will get enough support for his actions. I applaud this man if he chooses to run!

I haven't actually seen anything from Mr Begg where he states that he may run for parliament, only the idea floated by others who have obviosly not discussed this with him.

There has been no evidence produced to show that Mr Begg fought for the Taliban or was connected with terrorists in any way at all. That's why he is being released after all.

Please share with us the evidence you have of this mans guilt and association with any terrorist organisations, other than speculative media reported fiction.
