There's always the quandery of having to use all of the most childish instruments of defence in the debate on free will...

Yeah, yeah, there is no rational, logical, scientific, philosophical 'defense' of 'free-will'!
Such vanity always loses in a philosophical discussion.
In the emotionally powered world of the ego, the vanity, the imagination, the pathological 'belief' in 'free-will' is hardly a rational discussion!
"I feel it, therefore it must be real!"
Pathological and ignorant!
I can see why my denying your vain 'beliefs' brings symptomatic response!
All 'beliefs' are symptomatic in their morphology.
Rather than intellectual...
So, enjoy your vanity!

I say that the "denial of ignorance" that this site 'claims', is always fine when it is the 'ignorance' of 'others' that you are denying!
But when it comes to your own vanity and ego, to really deny your own ignorance (to even recognize it) is more Painful than most 'believers' are willing to risk!
Deny the ignorance of others, defend, validate and spread our own, to the death!
That is what I am finding on this site!
Just more 'religions' on this site to defend; belief in UFOs, aliens, reptilians, etc... etc... etc...,

"I say that the "denial of ignorance" that this site 'claims', is always fine when it is the 'ignorance' of 'others' that you are denying!" Quote nameless

Pathologically speaking, and pathologically enmeshed in the illusion that you couldn't have free will...attempting the idiocy of defending the surety of the opposite - while claiming you are also devoid of the free will to choose its existence or not - is not just a quandary or an idiocy...it is an absurb position to be in....and it's understandable that this creates the kind of angst associated with its defense, eliciting no rational argument whatsoever using thoughts from your mind, which you did not choose, by admission...unless, you and any who hold this position, are claiming that your own position is NOT beholden to the standard upon which you hold any that do claim to have free will...

That - is the ignorance that is being denied.

To not address this, IS ignorance.

In other words - What magical feat is allowing you, who has no free will or choice - to argue that there is none?
