Hello and a fresh start

Hi everyone.

I just thought I'd wave from the shadows instead of skulking around unsociably

I've been here before under a different guise - who knows what email/username combo I dreamt up all those years ago, though. I wasn't a big player or anything so I'm fine with starting a fresh.

I'll most likely be found floating around the paranormal studies and UFO-y areas of the forum but general investigation of conspiracy theories are also my bag. I do tend to have a bit of a 'supernatural' twist to my logic/reasoning which doesn't always work for people. It's just hard to be 'textbook scientist' when you've experienced stuff outside of the textbook, you know?

Anyway, I'm not sure why I left before, probably something to do with my tendancy to spiral into an 'we are all doomed' mentality when I get into all of this too heavily, stocking up on bottled water and cans of alphabetti spagehetti because you know, that's all you need to survive...

I'm planning on keeping my feet on the ground this time around.
