imho being schizo is nothing like a handicap and neither is my half century of beer drinking ~ the old saying that 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' applies to my circumstance and i am not trying to change my life-or-behavior as you seem to be doing

Try not to take everything you read on ATS as the whole truth as it could play with your mind.

Keep your own thoughts and don't let others mess with your opinions... they are your own and you're entitled to have them, no matter what anyone else here says you should or shouldn't think that way.

And one last thing.... Normal is normal... and is the right way.

A word of warning though, there are quite a few spirited debates (snides and arrogant types too) to get caught up in on these forums...if you have problems with the booze, it might be better to try not to get dragged into a row and let the buggers get you too hot under the collar!

Most are fine though...although i can be a bit of a know-it-all myself and snarky sometimes...if you're on the receiving end once in a while, it's not personal i promise you.
