Phoenix=Pa-Hanok=House of Enoch

The Phoenix is a bird mentioned the Secrets of Enoch that dies and in Clements epistle to Corinth. In this legend a worm grows out of the corpse of the bird and grows into a Phoenix like reincarnation. Immortality? Resurrection? Enoch never died and was raised up to heaven.

Other Phoenix myths have it crashing in a blazing fire and ressurecting.

But the meaning of the word Phoenix when returned to its Egyptian form Pa Hanok means House of Enoch.

Enoch was known in Egypt. Some say he has Thoth/Tehuti, but I would actually like to know what anyone knows about this subject.

What was meant in Egypt by "House of Enoch"?

Why did the Greeks us it for a different meaning? Purple I think, which is why they called the Canaanites Phoenicians because they wore purple.(Don't hold Me to that).

Did the Israelites borrow Enoch from the Egyptians and make him their prophet?

Is Enoch Thoth?

Clements epistle to the Corinthians:

There is a certain bird called a Phoenix; of this there is never but one at a time, and that lives 600 years. And when the time of its dissolution draws near, that it must die, it makes itself a nest of frankincense and Myrhh, and other spices, and which, when its time is fulfilled, it enters and dies. But its flesh purifying, breeds a certain worm, which being nourished with the juice of the dead bird, brings forth feathers; and when it goes to a perfect state, it takes up the nest in which the bones of its parent lie, and carries it from Arabia to Egypt to Heliopolis.


Clement was Peter's chosen disciple. I feel like I am so close to something fascinating but missing something.

I've always had a fascination for the phoenix. Sorry i can't help you with the puzzle but am interested to see it when it's finished

I think the Phoenix is a euphemism for a sage like Enoch, Thoth, Hermes and Christ.

Purple is a royal color. It is alluded to in 2 Enoch so he is describing his fellow sages and another race of similar status but claiming the color purple is alluding to the Phoenicians also. I wonder if Clement wrote 2 Enoch too.

But each Phoenix living for 600 years is mysterious to me.

It seems that Enoch is not on the number one list of biblical characters that they wish us to know about. I am sure there are others that they keep them in the closet as well.

Like where are all the other women? We are lead to believe that every great man in history, had a wife, or two, as well as a few mistresses. Eve could not have been the lone dove.

It seems that Enoch is not on the number one list of biblical characters that they wish us to know about. I am sure there are others that they keep them in the closet as well.

Good looks on the videos I enjoy watching even if some is bs I can usually sift the wheat from the tares. Or however it goes.

SemSem was the High priest in Egypt before he was Shem of the bible. Sem means a certain kind of priest and SemSem means the great Shem.

Later Shem is said to be Melchizedek, priest of the Most High (not Yahweh).

On a side note, the planet Saturn has under many names been symbolized by the hexagram. The triangles pointing one up one down represent the principle "as above, so below."

Saturn is the 6th planet and has a hexagonal storm at its north pole. The hexagram has a hexagon in the center.
