Schroedongers hypothesis is often miss used. It doesnt say something g doesn't happen until it's observed. It says both outcomes are equally valid. The cat is in a superposition state with us not knowing the outcome until observation. I'm physics this is important because it leads to unpredictability. However outcomes still occur with or without observaton since other outcomes are dependent on it.

At the subatomic level, the double slit experiment clearly shows that the act of observation forces the probability wave to reduce to a single, defined outcome. It's not merely a case of the observer not knowing what state the cat is in -- it's a case of the cat being in both states simultaneously until the act of observation forces one reality to manifest.

Unless the photon is observed passing through one slit or the other, the outcome on the screen suggests it passed through both (or rather that the probability wave for both slits was equally real), which results in an interefence pattern.

However, if the observation is performed earlier, such that it's possible to know which slit the photon passed through, no interference pattern is recorded on the screen.

This experiment has been performed thousands of times with scores of variations and always reaches the same conclusion: the ability to know which slit the photon passed through actually determines the moment at which the probability became a certainty.

It's silly to think of a cat this way (or at least, most people would think so), but this is how things work at the subatomic level.

However, i do want to point out that this in no way requires there to be multiple realities. There are other ways to explain this, all of them highly theoretical.

Most striking is the ribs.... like wth? The ribs are toooo weird!

The heart, stomach, intestines, ribs, pineal gland, brain....it is allllll different!


Ribs are now attatched in the front, heart is low, huge, near the center of chest and way lower, no longer small and way left.... intestines are all tangled looking, pineal gland is no longer in third eye position, but in middle of brain etc.... just got look!

I think this Mandela effect crappy nonsense is going to get out of control on ATS real soon and I hope the mods and admins are paying attention and ready to stamp the nonsense threads out every time someone thinks they've discovered a new one.

These Mandela threads are sickening... a testament to the amount of people who put WAY too much stock in their (false) childhood memories.
It's pretty common knowledge that the older you get, the more you tend to remember things wrong or overinterpret things.

I'm pretty damn sure the cat is dead or alive wether I look into the box or not. It is just that I will know wether it is alive or not. Opening up the box and checking the box does not change the cat's status. That is like saying Sri Lanka isn't a real place because you haven't observed it for yourself yet.

In the American version; forceps are supplied so it is easier to pick-up the tiny American brain.

Part of the misconception previously mentioned.

By "observation," they mean "measurement."

No physical observer need be present to collapse a probability wave. Unless you're positing that a printout exists in both states until someone reads what the printer wrote on it.

Unless it might not be this timeline shift or time travel that evereyone thinks... Maybe we were abducted and brought here... In my "what do we have in commom" thread, we seem to be mostly green eyed and rh neg, and blond/red headed etc, who are experiencing this effect...

We also mostly have ufo and abduction recall, as well as missing time etc.

And it is way more than pop culture and the body changing, the maps, our spot in the milky way, etc...

For me, there are a few people from school who died and are alive again, and almost every one of my childhood schools and houses are burned or torn down, and we moved a LOT, so i cant just go to my old school or old house and jog my missing memories etc...

Don't worry, as soon as you post a pic of your xray/MRI or CT scan showing you have no sternum, heart on the left and ribs attached to the spine but opened on the chest, you will prove all the non believers wrong.
