The Mad Man At The Crossroads - Abduction with video evidence.

Hello ATS,

Long time lurker, first thread. I came across an interesting and rather authentic looking collection of videos on Youtube from a French language documentary. While each of the stories contained in the video are interesting in their own right, the one that I would like to focus on is titled "The Madman At The Crossroads" about 33 minutes into the video. The story recounts the abduction of Tibor Nagy a Hungarian immigrant who settled in Ohio with his wife and daughter and details their abduction and visit to the moon while inside an alien craft. What sets this story apart is the notion that they were allowed by the ETs to video tape what they saw outside the craft windows as they traveled through space.

The reason that I find the video so interesting is the fact that he was abducted close to 15 years before the Apollo landing, and yet his footage, taken with his hand held video camera provides some of the most stunning footage of the surface of the moon to come out of this time period. That, and his description of events, the testimony of his wife and daughter all come together to make a rather convincing story.

I have never heard of this being reviewed on the forums and would love to hear the feedback. Enjoy.

Sorry to disappoint you: the French series "Documents Interdits"(Forbidden Files) is totally invented. There are a lot of different short movies, all presented as 'real', on different subjects: witchcraft in Mexico and others, including several with a UFO and/or abduction theme (one of the best describes the supposed contact and abduction of a lone surviving Russian sailor in his lifeboat, filmed by himself!). They are all fiction, with actors, all realised with a voluntary amateurish way to make them more realistic. If you want, I should be able to find who were the realisator and the actors of that particular one which I remember quite well. This is why there is no trace of this 'case' in the UFO litterature: don't waste your time on that one. As a side, this proves how easy it is to create, with a small budget and not very sophisticated special effects, a film quite realistic which can deceive a lot of people if it is not presented for what it is: fiction.

Les Documents Interdits or The Forbidden Files. First shown in 1989 by European broadcaster ARTE-TV (Association Relative à la Télévision Européenne), these grainy, flickering, fragmented documents still represent one of the peaks of the “found footage” genre (for horror and sci-fi, anyway), offering hints of supernatural eruptions from within a mundane reality and not sticking around long enough to let the passing viewer in on the joke.

I'm watching it all, so far it's good, in a Twillight Zone kinda of way, but there is no way it is legit. It just screams made up. Similar to this tale, which is pretty much a youtube version of a scary book.



Good fun for a while though.

To your credit, some of those fauxumentories were really well made.

I recalled seeing one episode of The Forbidden Files (translated to English language, I believe from a Canadian production company) about a film crew investigating a haunted house. It stuck with me for decades and the relief/disappointment when I found out that it was fake was palpable.

If you really want to be freaked out, check out some of the paranormal videos from japan.

There's one particular one where this news crew investigates an old asylum, and what they find in there kinda freaked me out for a good while..& I've seen the real deal so it gives me chills to even think about what happened to those people.

Thanks for the video!! Have been watching it with amazement, the hole black & white imagery gives it a more authentic vibe and the sheer ignorance portrait during the different video's is at most hilarious but also intriguing,
they seem to want to make the viewer start asking questions.
With the Takohamo incident the hook got hold and i wanted to know more!

Found this site giving a entertaining version of the events that happend there, some crazy bastards hoping they could by experimenting on living aliens gain the upper hand, must have been high on power thinking they could pull that off when the other site possess technologies like interstellair travel, but apparently not GPS implants... haha.

In 1967 the ETs returned (without the exchanged humans). By now, 1 of the exchanged aliens had died (as a result of the experiments) and the other 2 had escaped the Takohamo Military Camp, obviously fearing for their lives. The game of 'interplanetary double-crossing' was in full-swing by now. The ETs demanded the return of their own, but the USA/Soviets claimed that all 3 'exchangees' had escaped the Takohamo facility. An ultimatum was given by the ETs to the USA/Soviets that all 3 be returned to them within a year. Desperate to avoid any exposure of their real intentions the USA/Soviets mounted a campaign to locate the 2 escaped ETs. After months of searching, 'OLSEN-2' (codename for one of the escaped aliens) had been located.

@op - after reading comments here, I think it's wise to save portions of my life over something that *seems* authentic, but probably is not (or definitely).

Could be entertaining at the very least..

The ufo field is so dry and lame in current time. Where are the saucers!? Where are the present day abductions? The scorched earth?

I haven't seen anything in a couple years myself. Finding it very strange like the entire phenomenon is dissipating from reality.

Well, to be fair, (maybe he was mean in other posts) it's not mean to call out a liar. It's doing a service to the membership. Here I am, thinking it's his first time posting anything here. Turns out its just been a few years. It's not a major thing, and I won't condemn this person for it or anything, and we could still be friends and everything, but at the same time, I'm not going to see Schuyler as doing anything wrong by pointing it out.

I don't like being lied to, so I actually appreciate being told the truth and I could care less if he was nice or mean about it. If op hasn't posted in a long time, then tell us you haven't posted in a long time. Don't tell me "long time lurker, first thread".

It calls into question the reason for avoiding the truth... What does this person have to hide? Were they trying to keep us from seeing their past threads for some reason? Is there something wrong with those other threads that op wants to pretend as if they do not exist? What's going on here??
