just some random poem...all rights reserved

Blackness coils around my center
gravity pulls me down
screams from beyond bid me enter
these waves are going to make me drown

through the night I slash with my knife
ripping through velvet sky
unsure as I question my life
always asking "why?"

universe bigger than we can know
but it exists in me
forever it'll grow
only existing where I can see

so banish hate, banish lies
I don't want it anymore
hold up love and hold the skies
now is time to settle the score

creeping through destiny
the snake hisses my name
trapped here, presently
want to be heard without fame

but the spiral continues to pull
nothing ever escaped
soon I shall make it full
and my consciousness raped

for light, I hope
but will it ever reach me?
wishing is how I cope
knowing I'll never be free

but so long as infinity reigns
maybe I'll break from my chains
as long as there's a chance I'll be free
despair will never take me

Oh, I didn't know that ...so basically the admins can take the credit for work done by us. Meh...that's fine. I posted it to share, not make money. Though, it would be cool if I were credited if it ever got famous.

Now translating...that's my profession, so that's not something I'll do for free (well, unless I have free time to volunteer and it's for a good cause

No. You have rights to it, but not exclusive. I just wanted to let you know. Keep sharing I don't know about you, but there would be no purpose for me to write if I did not share it with people. I meant delete my post(the content regarding rights).

There are two topics of poetry really. It is either bound to be dark and gloomy or of love for a loved one. Seems most common anyways.

I like writing love stories, dark romance, and topics of death and the like often times I speak of myself through what I write. It is a subtle way of saying what one holds deep inside. Hm, but hope. I never end with hope.

Some of the best poems can be depressing ones. They are a reflection of one of many emotions and can be wonderfully expressed. I enjoyed this!
