Canada (CCP Coming Back) Court Challenges Program. Lets use this.

I recently read that Canada's CCP is going to be coming back.

" The Court Challenges Program of Canada (CCP) is a non-profit organization whose stated purpose is "to provide financial assistance for important court cases that advance language and equality rights guaranteed under Canada's Constitution".

It's time we used this, us, the good guys instead of the bad guys. You know who is going to be there already, feminazi's. They will be all over this.
Francophones will be all over this trying to force french on everyone. Well, times a changing

In Canada every day as an Anglophone (English Only) I am becomming more and more a minority, with many things actually descriminating against me, including the govenment itself. We have language police in Quebec shutting down English everywhere and forcing Anglophone culture to be genocided much like the Catholics did witht heir residential schools and first nations peoples. Children of Anglophone parents are forced to go to French only schools, this is descrimination. This is cultural genocide. We've seen it before in Canada, we're seeing it again.

Time to stand up against this.

Sure my skin is white like the majority, however I am a minority because I am an Atheist. I demand our national anthem be changed.
A bill has gone through and is in house i think now to change it, but not changing the correct part. They are changing the line " In all our sons command" to something less "sexist" because women right. I agree with that, makes sense, but why not change the most disgusting horrible line in the entire anthem. It is extremely offensive to me, to humanity, society and reality.
The line can be seen one of two ways. "God keep our land," Or, "God keep our land glorious and free"
The first one is extremely offensive and nobody would agree to it. If a god showed up and told you give me everything you have, you think that's okay? I don't, that's offensive. He would own all the land and could say no humans allowed the force us into the ocean to drown.
The next part "God keep our land glorious and free". Well, that is just stupidity to the max. Has it worked so far? No Look at all the pollution, the terrorism, the environmental disasters at the hands of greedy companies. Has this god done his part and kept the land gloruos and free? No way. Continueing down this path and using our planet as a dumping ground and toxic waste storage and waiting for a god to fix it is absolutely offenseive to everything in reality.
Change that line to "Lets keep our land, glorious and free" That way the onus is on us to keep and maintean our wonderful country, and sit around hoping some loser god will do it, who hasn't done anything yet.

It's time people. Atheists rise up, this is our chance to change the nonsense going on here. My skin is white, but I am the most minority there is in Canada according to statistics, and as the most minority all my rights and requests have to be upheld or you will be sued in court.

As a white, atheist, English speaking Canadian...I could care less about the national anthem. It's fine to me. No one forces me to sing it. God is just a word. You don't have to sing it or believe in it.

Canada doesn't need more frivolous law suits.

Well, when the majority of our country thinks that their god is going to come down and take away all the war and garbage and prevent terrorists from coming in, and so they do nothing, I think that's a problem.

Anyways, if a Francophone can sue an airliner for not offering him a french 7up, I am well entitled as an Atheist to make changes that actually make sense and have proof.

It's more like if we sit back and do nothing then they will continue to push their agenda. Lets talk about the french nonsense as they are an obsolete dying minority desperately trying to survive even though there is no point, and it's affecting us all in a bad way.

30% English and 70% French enrollment in schools in English only cities, that is messed up, all on the propaganda that "they will need it for a good job". Perhaps in the past, but these small minded simpletons can't think past the next 5 minutes.
This happened because of people doing nothing except them and pushing their agenda.

Lets look at reality now. Over 60% of the Internet is English. The majority language in Canada is English. The official language of business worldwide is English. In China there are 200 million people learning English.
Look at the birth rates here at home (low) vs those immigrating (high) to Canada. Some know English, but they are mainly Arabic and Cantonese, Phillipean?, etc.

Lets look down the road to when these kids will be out of school looking for work.
First off, the year will be 2030. By 2030 50% of ALL jobs will be fully automated or run by AI. White collar desk jobs will be AI. Our country will possibly have a majority English / Arabic with very minority French.

At this time we will have technology for instant translation of any language into any others (We already do, but it will be perfected by then either as a contact lens or cybernetic implant) Signage you see will be auto translated through AR (Augmented Reality) through the lens. Everyone will be able to fully communicate with everyone else no effort or learning required.

The jobs they are brainwashing people into going into french for (government desk jobs) will NOT exist.
If anything they should focus on a language like English, Arabic, Cantonese, or programming languages as in the future many of us will have to know how to program machines.

Maybe this is a bit of a rambling but still, it's all true and people sitting back while the idiots spread their agenda is bad for society and everything.

I used the term genocide because in the truth and reconciliation they referred to how the Catholics abused, murdered, butchered and raped the 28+ languages away from the First Nations, which those languages are now lost forever, was called a cultural genocide.

In Canada great powers are giving to the minority.

As an Atheist, you are the most minority. Muslims can complain about this and that, Christians too, but an Atheist overrules them as we are the most minority.

Quebec is a French province. Why would they give in to non French speakers who could very well learn French.

Atheist is different than having no religion. They can still not have a religion and believe in a god without proof or evidence (faith)

Atheists cannot, we require proof and evidence for a god.

Just a guess but probably 10% Atheist, 14% non-religious out of that 24%

Because of equal rights. It is disgusting how they discriminate against English speakers over there. All throughout Canada our road signs are in English and French. Go over to that province and they are ONLY in French.

That's pathetic and sad and not equality.

Also, about the anthem again. Currently it recognizes one god of one religion, and is offensive to others as well as to Atheists, reality, society, history, and everything.

Removing that offensive word and replacing it with "Let's" will include every single Canadian. 100% of us are included within our national anthem and reminds us to keep our land safe and sound and a wonderful place. That change would be amazing and would benefit everyone and it also includes everyone including religious people & atheists alike. You can't tell me it wouldn't be far better than way.

So your real issue is with quebec, do you live there, did you have a bad experience there.

Half my family is anglophones, my moms side, they do complain alot about french behing the majority in the province, problem is its not illegal for them to pass laws to protect the french language, its stupid but no where bigoted against non francophones.

I agree. If you want to live in Quebec you should at least make the effort to be fluent enough in French to carry basic conversation out.

What part of Quebec do you live in...? Even in western Quebec,places like Montreal it's populated by a majority of English speaking people. Yes the services and road signs will be written in french,honestly I have no problem with this as I actually learned a little french just to get around most areas...How do you still only speak English and still live in Quebec...? Canada is a bi-lingual country,get over it. I suggest you either learn some french,or move further west to provinces like Alberta or Saskatchewan where you will feel less like a "minority"... Stay out of BC, if you don't want to be surrounded by the Asians.. Oh no..

No it isn't, go to Quebec and you will have french only. Go EVERYWHERE else in Canada and you have french and english. Quebec is discriminatory to English speakers. If your lettering is the same size for an english word than a french word you get fined or shut down. I actually was at the Hull Casino the other day and happened to noticed in the parking lot the emergency "help I'm being raped or attacked" button to signal police was huge letters french, tiny tiny letters English. On an emergency safety thing.. that is disgusting. This province actually has language police to go out and discriminate against people. That is pure nazi style.

And yes, universal translators already exist. The Government is required to put out the same Tweets in English and French, while in the top left of EVERY tweet you have a button to instantly translate it to your language. Such waste of time, errort and money.

Streamlined UT's are around the corner, with Augment Reality lenses (Already being patented) and people are forcing their kids to learn a dead language when they could be learning things that would actually help, such as science, math, art, programming, robotics, physics. If they want another language how about Arabic or Cantonese as they are increasing almost as fast in our country as french is dying worldwide.

Another note, the amazing Dr Michio Kaku has said that in order to become a type 1 civilization (we are currently type 0) our world needs to be united and we will have an official language, and it's English.

When our country became bilingual (English French) it was done for one specific reason. So people could get help when they needed it. Front line government service workers who dealt directly with the public were supposed to be bilingual so they could help whoever called.

Over time, the french have pushed their secretive takeover of our country to the point where it is near impossible to get any government job even in a mail room or as a janitor without being fluent. That is pure discrimination and a hostile takeover. I'll tell you one of thing, you listen to any of these french people speak they don't' even know how to speak their own language. If you don't believe me go hang out at a restaurant where government workers go for lunch, they will all have quebec accents and speak a pathetic mess of french and english in the same sentences.

These days I have even seen jobs such as a garbage man, a fence post installer, and a road repair crew requiring totally fluent in English and french. This is NOT what was supposed to happen. This is a takeover. I actually agree with the original plan for front line government workers to be required but instead of that being that, they used that to spread like a virus. Now you cannot get a job, or if you are lucky enough to get one in the government you are NOT ALLOWED to be promoted until you can prove you are bilingual..

I've been to Quebec numerous times to visit family I have there,Not once as an English speaker did I feel discriminated against but this partly due to the fact that I had learned french as a child.. However I will grant you that in eastern parts of Quebec,e.g Quebec city there is some discrimination against English speakers. The simple solution to your grievance though is to LEARN francais..You seem to want the entire province to pander to your desired taste in language,as you mentioned the rest of the provinces and territories of Canada are predominately English. You could also move.
I moved out of Quebec for the same political bull# that has gone in Quebec since the beginning of time.. French people being assholes is nothing new,much like it is for the rest of humanity.

French is not a dead language they're entire countries whose national language is french. E.g Belgium,Cameroon,Congo,France,Benin,Canada and many others..What are you #ing talking about!?
Also no English is not the dominate language in the world,it's actually Cantonese and mandarin. English is the third. Seriously dude,all it took was quick google search to prove how patently false your claim is.
So no if anything you might want to start teaching your self to speak Cantonese,as it will probably be the official language of the world.
