The Northern Kingdom of Europe is sending a replica of the Noahs Ark to preach the message of humanity, i wish them peace and a good journey.

One Christian organization is hoping to bring a story from the Bible to life.

The group Ark of Noah hopes to set sail in a "replica" of the Ark of Noah sometime this year.

The ark, which spans five floors and can hold more than 5,000 people at once, is 95 feet wide, 410 feet long and 75 feet tall.

Dutch carpenter Johan Huibers said he began building the Ark of Noah after dreaming about an intense storm that flooded his hometown in the Netherlands.

According to Herald A.M.A. Janssen, the director of the Ark of Noah Foundation, Huibers built the ark using the measurements given in Genesis 6:15 to make the ark "as precise as possible."

"And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred 8 cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits," reads the Bible passage.

By reviewing multiple historical measurement units in the various ancient cultures, Huibers created a measurement scale to use while building his ark.

Looks like a disaster waiting to happen. And I don't mean a hypothetical flood.

Wonder how this will work out. I doubt Noah's ark was anything close to an ocean-going ship.

If Thor Heyerdahl could do it on a balsa wood raft, why not?

I bet that thing would fall like a House of Cards in an Ocean Storm with 25 foot seas.

"May Day, May Day, Noah's Ark is taking on water and in serious trouble.

"Captain, I think we have a prank call"

An ark replica?

I think the original was designed only to float and withstand poor weather conditions, it wasnt designed to sail or travel distance.

Crazy, just crazy. I just hope they don't take many people on it...and have a sizeable lifeboat. And excellent life insurance coverage. Just steering that craft looks improbable. ON second thought does it have any engine at all?? And if it does... major FAIL. Noah's Ark had no engines.

peace

ETA. After some thought...I doubt that behemoth even moves. Logic says this announcement is a publicity push for religion. This vessel could never be allowed by authorities to travel any lanes of traffic for transport. Never mind the open ocean is likely suicide. No way this vessel(I use vessel lightly because i believe it not to even float) has been inspected or certified for passengers, no less a crew. Has she had her sea trials yet?

just compelled to point out that the replica " noahs ark " is being transported to brazil on a barge

so its propulsion - seaworthiness , structural integrity etc is all moot

Hey, at least this time it'd be even easier considering that the kangaroos won't have to swim across the ocean to get to it, they can just fly a pair right in!

maybe it's meant to be 308 qbits long x 50 qbits wide x 30 qbits high equalling a quantum processor of 462,000 qbits!

Seems guaranteed!
What a foolish waste of money!
Are the Faithless show-boaters also going to have 7 (yes 7, says the bible, on the page after the 'two'!) of every species?
Is there some point to this disgusting travesty?
"See! See! My silly 'beliefs' are real! Right?!"
