Yes, one leg was always silver, the problem is that all toys and illustrations had two golden legs, so our memories got confused.

This is a screenshot from the original movie, 1977.

I appreciate that but that is the problem.....with this particular effect the history has changed completely so of course we can find old pictures with the silver leg.

What would be interesting is is we could find the original, which apparently does not exist.....

If ya dive into this video or the many other that this will lead to, there are hundreds of people who claim C3PO is not supposed to have that silver leg....

personally I remember him as all gold.

This is the orignal cover of a 1977 record album of a short version of the movie. You can clearly see his silver leg.

Nope. I remember Star Wars very clearly and Luke never said that.

That is the mandela effect.

History has changed as two universes merge........

So that pic basically proves ME for some and disproves it for others....

Thats why people are freaking out. It's as if the scientists at CERN are travelling through time, somehow, and making alterations...

No, it hasn't.

YOU are wrong and you cannot admit that you are remembering things wrong. Simple as that.

Just accept the fact, yes the fact that there is *zero evidence* for ME apart from people claiming they remember things differently. That is not evidence of a 'temporal change' or time shift or whatever bollocks you people claim it to be. Even when you are presented with empirical evidence to the contrary of your belief, you still reject it.

You.Are.Wrong.

If I'm wrong - show me how? I can show you the NIAYF quote in EVERY instance of the film. Opponents cannot. The image of 3POs leg as silver was presented -- yet that still didn't satisfy you. What will, if evidence does not?

ME is becoming a religion now. Based purely on faith.

Cern scientists making alterations to little things and spellings?

Are you kidding or being serious?

I may be. That's fine, but as these "faulty memories" keep appearing it is getting harder to deny.

If I'm wrong so are thousands of other people, thousands...

seems statistically improbable.

Actually, it's quite probable. I would venture to say it's a certainty, when you consider that there are billions of people.

What, improbable that people have faulty memories and follow memes?

But these 'faulty memories' are natural and normal.

And remember, pretty much everything people are referring to in ME are pop culture references -- things that happened in the past 30 to 50 years where mass media and more recently, the internet, have made memes and other adverts and virals more easily communicated.

Hence why people are remembering things... wrong!

thousands was a rough estimate, I think it is more like hundreds upon hundreds of thousands.

You sane ones from the faulty memory camp seem like the minority..

I gotta go work a plane........be back later

Oh, hundreds of thousands. That makes a big difference compared to billions. I don't suppose you have anything to back that up though?

You sane ones from the faulty memory camp seem like the minority.

You have an odd understanding of statistics.
