Do you have any information on how they are connected to Obama?

I don't think Obama will allow this to go to his DOJ, no matter what he claims because, imo, he may be complicit. He intentionally failed to appoint a permanent IG for the State Dept. during her entire tenure.

There is a reason for that. Why is no one asking 'why'? Obama and Hillary were up to something perhaps?

a thread from January when the totally withheld emails were "announced" .....

And this absolute GEM....

Separately, Kirby said the department is withholding eight email chains, totaling 18 messages, between President Barack Obama and Clinton. These are remaining confidential "to protect the president's ability to receive unvarnished advice and counsel," and will be released eventually like other presidential records.

U.S. declares 22 Clinton emails 'top secret'

all from real sources too !!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also believe there was recently-discovered correspondence showing SOS Clinton instructing an aide to remove classifications from an email so it could be sent as a non-official email.

Yes, there is an e-mail with Hillary instructing the aide to remove the classified marking and fax the document to her.

Clinton asked aide to remove classified markings more than once

I also think people are getting private e-mail accounts and private e-mail servers confused either intentionally to obfuscate the discussion or just due to lack of understanding.

She had her own private physical e-mail server (a physical server in her house, not @gmail.com, but @clinton.com or whatever it was) set up to blatantly circumvent FOIA laws and federal procedures. This was fully intentional because she was communicating confidential information with her crony Sid Blumenthal, a private citizen and Clinton Foundation employee with no security clearance, as well as banned from working at Obama's state dept. She was doing this under Obama's nose as Secretary of State and was all about getting the inside track on business contracts in Libya's transitional government.

I'm astounded how she is even allowed to run for president amid this FBI investigation. Any other candidate would have been disqualified. She just says it was a "mistake" and "poor judgment" but only when she got caught. Only her voters are that gullible to believe this. This is corruption and cronyism 2.0 after Bush/Cheney. She should be no where near allowed to serve as President based on this alone.

Hi RickinVa,

The question becomes, "why isn't the investigation (if there is one) getting off the dime?"
Why aren't charges being filed?

If an ordinary person committed what Hillary has done, he/she would be in prison already.

The clock is ticking as Hillary moves closer and closer to the presidency.

Rick will have his own opinion and I'd like to see it too.

As far as I can see it would be better for Mrs.Clinton if this went before a court.

If she is elected the impeachment process will have to be used.

Bill got away. Hillary might not.

Leaving this as an open question will be a bad thing .

What are you asking? You are not making any sense..... Electronic classified information can only be stored on authorized government storage devices with NSA approved encryption.... Any private server would have to receive a waiver from NSA. That would never be allowed so it is a moot point.

Do I have to write it out in crayon?

You are trying to make a clear contrast between a personal-private server and a private server. All I am asking is that contrast is differentiated in the security protocols.

The Bush admin used a private server that did not have an NSA waiver. It was never taken to court of fully investigated. If Clinton is taken to court over her stupid decisions, her legal team will have precedence to refer to...the Bush email scandal.

so you are saying that since Bush did the same thing (and I have never seen proof of that, but it's irrelevant now) that Hillary and every other government employee who might get in trouble for mishandling classified documents should get a free pass? just do away with the law? Or do you just want Hillary cleared since she is such an important person?

It really as simple as this....

Anyone who has ever served in the military or/and as a government employee can tell you the same thing:

If classified information is found outside of strict government control and your name is on it and the Inspector General gets involved.... you my friend are in some very serious trouble.

If classified information is found outside of strict government control and your name is on it and the Inspector General gets involved and they feel it is serious enough to call in the FBI.... you my friend are in some extremely serious trouble and need to have the best legal representation possible.

That's the way the cookie crumbles...... film at 11

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This sums it up pretty good:

www.salon.com...

To the Honorable James B. Comey, Jr. and all the good people at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, The majority of the Democratic Party does not believe there is an ongoing FBI criminal investigation regarding Hillary Clinton’s emails. They believe, as the former Secretary of State has told them, that your work is merely a “security review,” or as one Democratic strategist call it, “another BS scandal.” Your work, thus far, has been relegated to yet another “witch hunt.” In fact, Clinton and her campaign have managed to convince millions that former secretaries of state did the same thing, which of course isn’t true.

Since your investigation has taken so long, many people believe that nothing has been found, or simply that Clinton is too powerful to face any serious repercussions. Any attempt to warn people that Hillary Clinton could realistically face criminal indictments is either viewed as a Republican scare tactic, or lunacy. Even many Bernie Sanders supporters, a group that would benefit the most from the FBI recommending indictment of Clinton, feel it’s either disloyal, or pointless to bring up the email controversy. The massive group think within the Democratic Party, fostered by years of circumventing political scandals, has literally altered the mindset of normally rational individuals, and voters.

The tension among the Intelligence Community is very high... everyone is waiting on the FBI to do the right thing....so many other people have been slammed for doing so much less than Hillary has with classified information.

And then there is this:

How can Hillary Clinton possibly say that she never sent or received any emails marked classified.

Sidney Blumenthal at least used his own adhoc classification system and didn't mind slapping them on his emails to Hillary..

Here are examples:

foia.state.gov...

foia.state.gov...

foia.state.gov...

foia.state.gov...

In all of those emails, and those are from just the first page, have CONFIDENTIAL right across the top. It doesn't mean confidential between Hillary and him....because she was forwarding his stuff to other people in the State Department.

She should have immediately recognized that the information he was sending may indeed be actually classified... either that or she just chose to simply ignore it and pretend it didn't exist.

There are dozens like this....Yes I realize that Sid putting his CONFIDENTIAL thing across the top was not an official classification stamp... the point is..it would have triggered any normal person with a clearance to question whether they should be receiving this through their home server.

The truth is out there.... open your eyes and see it.

An interesting tidbit on HRC's email troubles:

BREAKING: Justice Department Just Filed For ACTION Against Hillary

The Justice Department submitted the declaration as part of “a secret filing,” but a U.S. District Court Judge ordered them to publicly submit a redacted copy of the document or at least “show cause why” that isn’t possible.

They responded in kind by saying they couldn’t make the document public because it would “adversely affect the ongoing investigation” into Clinton’s private email server.

Fair enough, but it is two words further into the DOJ memorandum that will be sure to raise some eyebrows. They claim they can’t reveal the document because it could “reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.”

Hi,

Will Hillary's above the law status cause any Justice Dept action to fizzle out?

or, will barry hussein soetoro order the Justice Dept. to terminate the investigation?

Will Hillary receive a full presidential pardon?
-- The question is, not if, but when will she receive presidential pardon.

The Clintons have been way above the law for a very long time.

Is it just me or does it seem the only excuse Hillary has is she never read her emails to not know they contained classified information?

I used to classify naval messages based on technical details, navigational data, exercise messages, sensitive information about personnel, etc. This all happened just a couple years after receiving my clearance. We had required reading to ensure we followed all the proper procedures to prevent compromising data or transmitting over improper channels.

Now this is all at lower levels of classification. When dealing with SCI it's like a smack in the face to hear someone running for President didn't realize the implications of that data. I honestly think she either has no common sense, had no care for her position, or is blatantly trying to get people killed. That is the reality of this type of information when it's classified at that level. She isn't qualified to be President in my eyes.

I had to send and receive classified e-mails and transport documents and everything i s strictly by the book, in the Navy.

There were SOPs written for everything and I had to learn to read the reference material and making a mistake was a big big no no.

They have every single detail of not only how to handle the material but it is to be written and read or decrypted in the reference material.

It's not joke they told us weekly that those SOPs were written in blood and made damn sure we followed them.

I can only imagine my warrant officers and master chief if I didn't follow it.

For sure a DRB and captains mast for blatant disregard and loss of my security clearance I can't imagine what the CO would have done probably separation and I would have been lucky to not go to the brig the military tales it pretty serious for obvious reasons

I'm beginning to think that maybe the FBI and DOJ might actually do their jobs! Hillary might actually get what's coming to her methinks.

This may be going deeper than any of us imagined. Remember, it took a decade to bring the Rosenbergs to justice, and the web of deceit and obfuscation the Clintons have weaved over many years is bound to be a bugger bear of an investigation to unravel.

John Boehner told an audience in a sitdown interview Wednesday this:

“Don’t be shocked … if two weeks before the convention, here comes Joe Biden parachuting in and Barack Obama fanning the flames to make it all happen,” the former speaker said.

Hmmmm....I wonder what he has heard from the grapevine. I said a while back that if Hillary is indicted, Joe Biden, popular with lots of Americans, could easily step in and pick up where she leaves off. That could really throw the Donald for a loop!!
