Ted Cruz, John Kasich join forces to stop Donald Trump

Cruz and Kasich think that by working in unison, they will deny Trump. Little do they know their ploy will backfire miserably. Maybe it will work in denying Trump the GOP nomination, but he will take his ball to the third party playground. They'll just guaranty Hillary the POTUS in their grand little scheme.

(CNN)Ted Cruz and John Kasich are joining forces in a last-ditch effort to deny Donald Trump the Republican presidential nomination. Within minutes of each other, the pair issued statements late Sunday saying they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy -- something the two campaigns have been working on for weeks -- is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.

I had to laugh like hell this morning! Ted Cruz was talking about how he was going to pick up Trump supporters after the convention! Sorry Ted, I will write in "Dindu Nuffin" rather than vote for you or Hillary!

It isn't about winning for Kasich and Cruz, it is about stopping Trump.

Seems like they are stumping for Hillary.

Seems like the media are stumping for Hillary.

As xuenchen says, it's more about stopping Trump than Hillary. Reince Preibus condones this with a wink and a nod, just as Debbie Wasserman Schultz condones the superdelegate system so Hillary comes out on top against Bernie. Of course it will never happen because they're on opposite sides of the political spectrum, but a Trump-Sanders ticket would rock the establishment and win in a landslide. Instead we're going to get politics as usual for the next eight years, a continuation of the past eight years. As long as the sheeple have their iphones, Netflix, and comfy couches, there won't be a peep.
