I remember reading several times that he was prolific, and in the 90s was rarely out of the studio. I also vaguely recall a quote from someone saying that if he never recorded again, there would be enough material to keep issuing for years.

So yeah, as he was so prolific - look at how many bands he created/started/wrote for, I am sure that his music will continue to be released - an estimate of about 50 albums worth of unpublished material is waiting somewhere. For that at least we can be glad.

There is money to made from it, so the music will doubtless be issued by music moguls at the record labels. I am cynical about the music industry, and saddened that the man will not see his fans' reactions to his music - no doubt they will be classics and even though he may have written them years ago, I hope they will not have aged.

I doubt it as I still listen to some of his albums from the 90s.

Thanks for the music, and legacy Prince. You have left your fans a great present, and hours of music in your all too soon absence.

I'd lay odds his untimely death will be attributed to heart failure due to acute endocarditis.

Latest reports are that Prince was in hospital a week ago for a drug overdose, and they brought him back to life.

He was found in his home in the Elevator??

Cause of death not determined yet......But Depression is an evil emotion.

Maybe, with his friends gone, MJ, DB etc, he didn't want to grow old and wrinkly, but be remembered as beautiful still.....as in die "Young" and leave a great looking corpse.

It wouldn't be the first time this has happened to an entertainer.

Have to wait for the official report....but if its released as an "Accidental" death, then we know.

I too saw the superbowl performance.

The way he was ripping that guitar earned my respect.

I have no idea what really happened here, but it is sure that too many celebrities die in an apparently unexpected way. Anyway too many have died, so I am assuming it must be some occult ritual by TPTB that requires human sacrifice.
