Spring does not begin at a certain date.
Spring begins when somebody declaires it's spring.
About a week ago my neighbour was driving by on her bike.

She said to me, "now THAT is weather! Isn't it?"
And I said, "indeed! It's spring now."
"They have good strawberrys at Waldi. 99,- cent."

"Good to know", I said, and went straight to Waldi to get me some.
