Who are Your favorite ATS People?

I don't have any favorites or any unfavorites, but this type of question makes me think of people who are "clutch players" like the oft cited Phage, who seems to come through, dead pan style, with common sense, particularly on the space stuff.

He keeps his head when others are reaching for the Reynolds Wrap head gear.

There are a lot of nice, decent, feisty people on ATS.

Aha! Not a man of few words after all, even if you are taking most of them back!

My favorites are all from an earlier era on the 9/11 forum, 6 or 8 years ago. Some are no longer with us for various reasons. I used to like Griff, LabTop and other truthers. We got into some pitched battles with the forces of evil and had each others' backs when ganged up on. A lot of the names I don't remember but they know who they are.

I even had a grudging admiration for some of the Yalies and the water cooler crowd at Langley, people like Captain Obvious, Swampfox, and some of the aviation and armed forces ringers we used to run into. Fun times.

One of the funniest things I ever saw on TV was on The View, when Rosie O'Donnell was vehemently insisting that fire can't melt steel. (Face palm moment.)

Sometimes just a little knowledge is not enough to be a friend.

I mostly post in the short story forum so I have become very familiar with the writers. I am so happy to be associated with such great people. Above board, Night star, Gordi, True brit, Jacygirl, etc, etc. But appreciate all the other posters and their contributions like Slayer, Hefficide, etc. I just enjoy being part of this global community!

Oh, hell...I'm terrible with attaching names to faces, let alone be able to remember those who are my favorites on this site, let alone WHY they are my favorites.

Suffice it to say, at least for me, those who intelligently disagree with me and have civil discussions about it are included in my favorites, as well as some who agree with me. I wholeheartedly adore those who can bring sarcasm into any situation and aren't always so in love with their own opinion that they can't take or make a joke.

I could list a few off of the top of my head, but I won't, because it doesn't really matter to call people out, and I'd probably forget those I like the most and accidentally include some that I like the least.

Either way, I got a vasectomy on Monday, and my right nut feels like someone is pinching it--constantly, all day, every minute--so I'm not really thinking straight right now.

Out of the 323,516 members here, I would have to say my favorites are all the people not mentioned on anybody's list. There is plenty of room over at my lunch table, anyone can have a seat.
