White House threatens to veto 9/11 lawsuit bill

Those who know, know. Those who don't, don't care. Beyond that it's just smoke and mirrors.

If the Saudis own them and can legally sell them, how are they 'American assets'? Might be better to call them 'Saudi assets of American origin'?

And if they sell them, that means someone else (possibly hostile to the US) gets them? As if the Saudis are not hostile to US interests?

Sounds like a weak bluff to me.
