You can already tell here that things are piling up in the atmosphere. The clouds have that heavy look and the atmosphere is starting to feel soupy. It's only Saturday, but it feels like a day that should unleash lots of rain. If this is the correct call, it won't, but that heavy, greasy feel will be here building up until this slow system gets overhead of us and then all this dumps out of the air.

Yay! Good thing most of our errands are being run today and early tomorrow. Sucks for my commute next week though. No one in this town drive well when water falls out of the sky and I drive right past downtown every day.

We had to shut down in Amarillo last night. When we got there they had a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect with tornado reports from just Northwest of Amarillo and tornado and hail up into Oklahoma.

Been watching Stormchasers for the last couple of hours. There's some bad weather kicking up in Texas, so keep your eyes open down there. Heading towards Oklahoma in a wide swath of storms.

One vehicle got hit with golfball sized hail, drove out of it and got hit again. I saw about a 6 inch covering of hail on the road making it tough to drive.

Waiting for that storm to blow down here in Austin. If it comes to it, I'll meet you half way with a case of beer in my flat bottom boat.

I'll have jerky and booze. We are survivors.

ETA: However, you should post it with this pic
There is an awesome one from last year but I can't seem to find it.

I did not know you were a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan (good man). Hope Texas fairs well through this. All ATS members and others living in Texas stay safe.

I completed my tasks in the Pearland area.
My feet were soaked.
It was knee deep in places.
My "dolly" held steady.
My customer approval rating was elevated.
All those people who got the day off got their spirits.
Mission accomplished.
