Ace Frehley

Ace is releasing a new album on Friday (4-15-16). It is a covers album, Origins, Volume 1. It has special guests on it, including Paul Stanley. I can't wait to pick this up. I am a big Ace and KISS fan.

I already have it pre-ordered. Ace and KISS seem like a topic that brings out the fans and non-fans alike, but I for one am a huge fan of Ace. Never really liked the song "White Room", but that's just me. Parasite with John 5 sounds great, can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Ace and Paul's cover of "Fire and Water" just became available, and it rocks.

I'm a longtime KISS fan. I've seen KISS over thirty times. I remember seeing Frehley's Comet back in '86. My wife and I saw Ace last week in Atlanta. Check out video of the show at [email protected].

KISS are one of my favourite bands. Very underrated IMO.

I particularly enjoyed the solo albums of the band members, and Gene Simmons' album was just outstanding and one of my all-time faves.

Ace Frehley's solo album was also a cracker (check it out if you can. Really liked the final track, Fractured Mirror).

Not sure he's the same force as he was back in the day though.

I still remember flying down the freeway in a 68 Firebird in about 1975 blasting out Kiss on the 8 track tape player.

Just bought my copy. I think it's great.

My favorites are Bring it on Home, Fire and Water, Magic Carpet Ride. Street Fighting Man, and Parasite.

What do you think of it?

The whole album is fantastic I think. Rock and roll hell, even though he didn't play on the original is incredible strong I think. I'm glad this album turned out as good as it did.

I've had it in my vehicle non stop. They released a video of Fire and Water with Paul yesterday. Fun video.
