Right back at you, Bernie people do the same but they seldom make sense or know why they are supporting him.

You know I think that is happening on both sides, and make no mistake there are only two sides now; Trump and anti-Trump. There are obvious reasons as to why this is.

That's not entirely true. There are those of us that don't really give a damn about Trump. He is not a threat. In fact, I hope he gets the nomination.

LOL - your post history would suggest otherwise.

I'm definitely not a Trump fan, but if you look at my post history, I spend more time refuting the absurdities that many of his fanboys, such as yourself, like to say in favor of Trump.

That's a lot more fun for me.

Anyway, the point is that there is not only two sides-Trump and anti-Trump. That is a myopic way to look at the current state of American politics.

You never miss an opportunity to refute anything positive about Trump which is exactly the point. The original claim was that Trump fans chime in to protect him. You do the opposite in equal measure. Looking back at your post history I can see all of the tired and false rhetoric that has no basis in fact when you attack Trump. You are the epitome of anti-Trump, which are usually characterized by ad hominem attacks as part of a post.

Keep looking at my posts. Do you see the ones in which I make sure to say that Trump is not and idiot, as many anti-Trump people like to claim, and I deny the assertion that he is Hitler?

Also, I'd like to see an example of this "false rhetoric".

These are the absurd statements I like to debate. Every side of a debate uses ad hominem attacks. To say otherwise indicates a bias to hold one side accountable for such actions, yet dismiss them when the other engages in it.

By the way, it is not ad hominem attack if it is true. Sometimes hearing the truth feels like an attack and if that is the case, perhaps a bit of reality is just what they need.

Lol - I can find every single one of the usual ad homimem attacks on Trump by you in your post history.
Too funny. You also don't like to debate, I already gave an example on another thread of your style - post after post of inane arguments. You just enjoy it, I get it. I'll leave you to it

Every single one? I didn't know there was a list compiled of the "usual ad hominem attacks" in regards to Trump. Can you provide that list?

I do like a good debate, but I also like to watch people paint themselves in to corners, especially when they don't even realize that is what they are doing. That is fun.

For example: Your post was not completely true, therefore could be considered an ad hominem attack. But I thought you said ad hominem attacks were "the epitome of anti-Trump". Or at least one of the characteristics.

Are you now anti-Trump?

He's leading polls in New York and in California. I don't see how he can be stopped on the way to the Republican nomination. The Trump momentum is real, and serious and really serious. This is no joke.

Why do people support Donald Trump?

He's a father figure. He is perceived as a stabilizing element in an unstable time. People are scared. Illegal immigration, police murdering people, people murdering police, mass shootings, loss of jobs, bad economy, bad foriegn policy, etc. When people are scared they choose a "strong leader" to stabilize the ship. People here think they are being taken advantage of by.Its wrong. But people still think that.

I have my own theory. I had an insight during the administration of George W. Bush, post 9/11, when I realized that the ideal person perps would want, to steer idiots wrong through a complicated situation, was another idiot.

9/11 scared a lot of people. They want a "strong leader" to beat the "bad guys". Fear is an excellent tool of control. MIC and CIA know all about that.

It became clear to me that the oligarchy had finally succeeded in "dumbing down" the American population to the point where a majority of them would believe any cockamamy story, no matter how ludicrous, as long as it was explained to them by someone on their level.

It has nothing to do with logic or reason. The problem is that people here elect on emotion and passions. The outsiders are taking advantange of you. I can stop them. Vote for me. That is how you win. The democrats are pretty much the same but they say "the rich are taking advantage of you let's raise taxes and slow the economy to punish them!"

It was a chilling moment. I realized that the "truth movement" was doomed by the downward shift of the middle of the statistical bell curve of the national I.Q.

Again it has nothing to do with logic and reason because the public does not vote on hard facts, reason and policies. This person makes me feel safe from the outsiders taking my resources
Decades of TV, football, on line porn, drugs, dance clubs and daytime televangelism had finally payed off.
Decades of anti-personal freedom pro-authoritarian schooling,TV,radio,movies,etc
The looting of the American economy by banks and the military industrial complex drove increasing numbers of people out of the work force completely or into very marginal jobs or term employment. More and more money migrated to the "oners", many of whom, shipped it offshore and out of the economy.
The 0.01% own how much of the world's wealth? But communism has killed over 100 million people

www.amazon.com...

All very ominous.

However, I didn't see what was coming next, although there was a hint of it during the Obama administration, when there was some attempt to form a "national youth organization" reminiscent of Germany's "Hitler Youth" or the "Young Pioneers" of the Soviet Union.

The advent of Donald Trump clarified things for me. He put the spotlight on the fact that just as Germany, in the economically desperate 1920s, had reached a critical mass of people ready to rally around a dictatorial crackpot, America's population of the desperate and dumbed down, heading into the 2016 presidential election, has reached the critical mass required to make a gaudy, egomaniacal casino owner into a serious and very demagogic contender for president.

Webster Tarpley, of World Crisis Radio and tarpley.net, draws the parallels with fascism on the rise much more lucidly and in more detail than I do in an article at the following link.

tarpley.net...-9599

Fascism – The Organized Violence and Terrorism of the 1% Against the People; Carried Out by Demagogues and Goons in the Service of Wall Street; To Understand Trump, Study the Mussolini Of 1921-22 and the Hitler of 1923 – Not Fascism in Power, but Fascism Struggling to Seize Power

I don't care for electing Trump. But Hillary is MUCH worse.

Just relax - it's ok that you are anti-Trump. That's your right.

Oh, the people in power are most certainly takers. Trap the poor by giving them handouts and no incentive to make it to the middle class, grow the poor and needy to secure future votes, and squeeze the life out of the people who contribute the most. All the while operating to different rules than the ones they ask everyone else to live by.

Tried and trusted method for the people who run our govts.

Because people are sick of decades of being thrown under the bus, being told that globalization and multiculturalism are good when they can see with their eyes that all its resulted in is division, outsourcing and the slow destruction of their lives.
People are so angry with the status quo they will do anything to induce change, don't you think its rather strange that the two most popular candidates are people that the public views as outsiders? People are SICK of being sold out, outsourced, marginalized and having their country and future ripped away from them. They are not that crazy about Trump, he is just a way to voice their discontent in the form of supporting someone they perceive as standing up to the sellout politicians. They are tired of voting in people who just continue an agenda that results in a steady degradation of their quality of life. I really believe this is the beginning of a rise in public consciousness that may eventually result in positive change.

I agree with what you said, but I think America should start to show a little depth on the roster of potential Presidents. I'm hoping for a brokered convention and a "knight in shining armor" to appear. Michael Bloomberg is somebody who might be on my wish list, if I were a Republican.

I don't like chaos and I think we are heading for it.

Heading for it? Have you looked out your window recently? The world is in the depths of chaos and has been for some time.

That's pretty cynical of you to say...I posit this era is merely the downward spiral toward a much worse brand of chaos. Presently, it's a pretty damn calm version of quantitative easing toward the grand finale. Chaos is the destination; what you see now is just part of the journey.
