I never said they didn't. But as a business, it comes down to bottom line and what will increase revenue.

Since LGBT is at most only 3% of the population, it can't be because they think it will appreciably increase their customer base. They are probably thinking this will somehow generate more positive PR than negative.

Also, funny how liberals think about the people in a business as people, when they agree with the decisions the business makes. Otherwise it's more of the same 'corporations aren't people!'

Happy for you. I have a kid who uses a shower at camp. I have a locker room where I change for work. The fitness club I (rarely) go to has a locker room. Some people like hygiene. I don't particularly care to see normal naked guys when I'm in there, what makes you think I'd want to see a naked woman who has undergone plastic surgery and hormone therapy?

Penises in the men's area, Vaginas in the women's area. That's pretty straightforward and equal.

It's rediculous the states are wasting tax payer money to make a symbolic law that will fail and can't be inforced without invading privacy.

If a major city is going to pass a law that the state legislature doesn't agree with, they will call a special session.

As for invading privacy, something else that liberals (and some libertarians) only care about when it affects their side... what about the privacy of the other people in those bathrooms/locker rooms/showers?

There is no privacy issue. The issue is you needing to stare at people. If someone is gawking at you you have every right to report them and they will still get in trouble.

Public is not private.

Emergency sessions on an unenforceable law is waste. Period.

No, the issue is the comfort of one person versus the comfort of the rest of the people. If one person's comfort matters, then all people's comfort matters equally. If it is easier for one person to be uncomfortable than 10, then you make the one person uncomfortable.

Otherwise we don't care about anyone's comfort and people go to the correct bath/locker/shower for their expressed biology regardless of how they feel.
