Its quite clear with the release of the Panama Papers our fair and balanced western news media quickly turned to a Putin bashing feast without overlooking the Panama Papers at all.

The leak includes 11.5 million confidential documents shedding light on the assets and murky fiscal dealings of everyone from the prime ministers of Iceland and Pakistan to soccer player Leo Messi, movie star Jackie Chan and associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Panama Papers Politically motivated
Its quite clear that when the Panama Papers haven't mentioned David Cameron or any known American politicians like Trump yet that the papers are nothing more then Politically motivated and the timing of their release is more questionable.

The Panama Papers are being released at a time when Russia along with Syria are making progress agaisnt the terrorists in Syria, this is why the western news media have turned the papers into a anti Putin fuming fest.

The Western News media are upset of how things are looking for the terrorists in Syria.

Documents revealing the fiscal activities of criminal organizations are made public, and the only thing some people seem to care about is Vladimir Putin's reputation. Interesting.

Seems to me that this OP is an attempt to distract attention from the reality. It's not anti-Russian to point to the levels of criminality and corruption encircling Putin.

It is well known and documented that Putin's inner circle are fantastically corrupt. Whether it's the assassination of dissidents and critics (Litvinenko), political opponents (Boris Nemtsov), or personal enrichment over state projects and sales, this release of documents from Panama is just a shedder of light.

No amount of "Putin is the victim" should distract attention from the facts.

People confuse Putin and Russia. Russia is not well served by Putin, but Putin and his cronies are well served by Russia. The fact that there are so many billionaires that surrounding Putin is telling.

James Corbett has a interesting take on what this is about . The usual western rhetoric/propaganda to feed the masses a few select bad guys while keeping their own bad guys well hidden . Still a good report and well worth the watch
