Quick question: chat feature

So I wanted to ask because I used to enjoy it, but the question is are we ever planning to have a chat option again or is it gone forever? I really enjoyed some of the regs and miss the old days. Anyway thanks in advance

They had a thread a while back on why they got rid of it. I'd like for it to come back too.

I think I saw it brought up again when Skeptic was floating the idea of paid memberships.

I was never a regular, but I enjoyed it on occasion. It's a feature I would like to see again.

I actually think it might be a good way to get additional funding for ATS without rustling too many jimmies. Charge a few bucks a month to have access to chat. It's not a core feature of the site, so I don't think people would feel excluded if they didn't get it for free. I'd probably drop a few bucks a month just for poops and giggles.

Yea I agree instant chat with y'all seems like a right!!

It's just nice to have it and the ability to talk about anything without the off topic label hanging over our chats, but yes I would drop a few bucks just to have the feature.
