Why Did I see a Homeland Security 'Seized ATS' Announcement Upon Logging In?

When I signed on to ATS this morning, on the screen...I saw a Homeland Security Symbol and a sign saying ATS and it's content had been seized.
Then it disappeared.
Was this a joke?

I see they put an announcement following to proclaim that it is an April Fool's joke.
Hopefully that will cut down on the people that are fooled enough to ask again. There have been quite a few threads asking this question.
I was worried when I first got the dancing animals... I thought it was some virus thing or something.

Oh, it was a good idea.
It is a good idea for people to 'lighten up' a bit around here.... with all the political stuff making people much angrier at each other than the entity that they should be angry at ... The gubmint!

Oh no l. I forgot it was April fools day. The message popped up too for me. I was scared so I....

Oh crap. Good one. You had me . It took a nano second to absorbed what I was seeing but I was like OMG how can that be.
