Sky News has reported that Turkish intelligence officials obtained credible information from 6 operatives from the "Celiphate" who were arrested last week. The terrorists have "advanced plans to murder Jewish children in Turkey", and "extraordinary security measures are being taken above and beyond the high alert level already in place by the Turkish police, as well as vigilance within the Jewish community".

"This is a more than credible threat. This is an active plot," the source added. The series of threats and the specific targeting of Jewish children follow the deadly attack in Istanbul on 19 March when five people were killed by a suicide bomber, including four Israelis, and the murder of another 35 in Brussels last week. An intelligence report seen by Sky News said: "The so-called Islamic State is believed to be behind both sets of attacks and the organisation continues in determined efforts to perpetrate further attacks in Turkey and elsewhere."

Turkey has allowed close to 3 million refugees into their borders, and there is "strong evidence" that IS operatives were among them, including members of the Paris and Brussels cells. It seems to be a never-ending cycle of violence that has escalated steadily, with no functional solution.

This is an active plot, so my thoughts are with those targeted. I am so tired of all these radical #ers, and I am ready to go occupy their #ing asses for 100 years until everyone of them is weeded out and pacified. No more innocent lives put on a uniform! no human shields! put some stakes mark your territory! let's have a go! But no, they'll never give us that why would they? occupation is coming, and not a fifteen year ordeal more like a hundred, be ready. I hope the Jewish community remembers it's better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.

Well be prepared for this to be called a false flag if it happens...as we have some here who believe Turkey is aiding and abedding ISIS.

It will be a tragedy if this happens...let's hope it doesn't, as those kids have nothing to do with fighting them.

Well, any prediction of Islamic nut-jobs killing people will come true at the moment. If they are not killing Muslims and minorities in Iraq, Syria and Libya, they are killing people in West and East Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and in Europe.

Turkey has been the target before and will be the target again.

Strike them while they're young.

Turkey enables the "Moderate Cannibals"

The Attack will most likely happen with Syria Blamed.

Ground Troops are needed.

"This is how they will Saddam or Gaddafi, Al Assad.

Turkey is a mess right now, an absolute mess. Erdogan has become an extremist himself and I have little doubt that his government is actively involved in the propagation of terrorism.

Anyone remember the murder of Jacqueline Sutton? And yes, it was murder. She was the UN and BBC journalist murdered in Istanbul’s Ataturk airport last year, which was quickly covered up by the Turkish authorities.

Since her murder, Erdogan has started taking over media outlets by force, arresting journalists, creating fictional claims against anyone daring to challenge his authoritarian rule.

Erdogan has become a dictator, it's the next country to fall. Rightly everyone in the west is concerned that Turkey is going to end up in a state of civil war before the year is out.

It would not surprise me one little bit if Erdogan was manufacturing terrorist atrocities in Turkey to excuse a bigger power grab.

No, he'll blame the PKK, which he blames for everything. He's a tribal extremist, a divider, a wannabe conqueror with grand delusions of destroying an entire cultural and ethnic group in his country.

Unfortunately, tribalism is the root of the problem in all of these countries. Whether it nationalist tribes, racial, religious, class... factions and tribes have caused EVERYTHING we are seeing in all of these countries.

You cannot have a tribal country led by one tribe in power, it's impossible.

Your words are truer than most will want to admit.

The best recent examples are Japan and Germany. After they were beaten into submission in World War II, the Allies took the long view, and occupied and remoulded their institutions and their cultures in such a way as to weed out the extremist nationalistic elements that had led their populations to support violent expansionism.

It was a multi-generational solution. You have to subdue the belligerents, then change the education system and legal systems and frameworks...so that you have at least two to three generations of young people who grow up with the idea of being a peaceful part of the global community, and have no personal memories of past hostilities upon which they would want to act out to gain "revenge" or "redress".

Whether or not one agrees with America going in and conquering Afghanistan and Iraq...once done, the policy should have been one where the U.S. (with its Allies) maintained a tight grip on political, economic and security matters in those Countries for at least 30-50 years. Eventually...eventually...as the populations there grew up in a completely different paradigm, and became pro-peace and pro-west, things could be handed back over to local care and control.

What Obama and Clinton did...in both cases...by telegraphing a withdrawal schedule - regardless of the conditions on the ground, or the degree to which those Countries had been re-stabilized - and then following through with the strategy of tucking tail and running away...has led to the complete chaos that we see today in Iraq and Syria, and the overrunning of Europe by displaced Middle-Eastern and North African people.

ISIS is spreading faster than the plague in the Middle East, Africa, Europe...and yes coming to a town near you in America and Canada soon.

But hey, Obama got his Nobel Peace Prize (just for getting elected), got to do the wave with a dictator in Cuba, put in a few more Global(ization) Trade Deals to ensure that the manufacturing colossus that America once was, collapses into the dumping ground for cheap Asian products made by regimes with weak/non-existent labour and environmental standards...and controlled currencies.

November can't get here fast enough...

There is ample evidence that points to Turkey doing the very thing you just said. They buy their oil, supply them with weapons, give them free passage, take care of their wounded.

Poor stupid Turkey. Sold its soul for power over Syria and now it will be the next Pakistan.

As the savage Taliban has haunted Pakistan with vicious terrorism, since Pakistan choose to nurture the Taliban in order to have heavy influence in Afghanistan.

So now ISIS will haunt Turkey who thought they could control the beast of ISIS as Pakistan thought they could control the beast of the Taliban.

The US is also guilty in this folly as they went along with the plots to use crazy jihadis as geopolitical pawns.

And the result is the creation of jihadi Frankenstein’s of Al Qaida, Taliban and now ISIS.

May God protect the innocent!

No, he'll blame the PKK, which he blames for everything.

To be fair they are responsible for many of the terror attacks in Turkey as of late.

We also have these...

I can see why he would blame them, as they are the most likely candidate responsible for terror attacks against Turkey.

And yet none of it has actually shown proof to back the claim.

SO does Syria, so has Syria with their military ranks turning to the other side and taking their weapons, Syria also allowed ISIS to put down roots there...taking care of a wounded person from the other side is not something new it's happened in every military conflict this Earth has seen, so it isn't something that isn't known.

Just a bit of side info

US ORDERS DIPLOMATIC, MILITARY FAMILIES OUT OF SOUTH TURKEY
"WASHINGTON (AP) -- The State Department and Pentagon ordered the families of U.S. diplomats and military personnel Tuesday to leave posts in southern Turkey due to "increased threats from terrorist groups" in the country.

The two agencies said dependents of American staffers at the U.S. consulate in Adana, the Incirlik air base and two other locations must leave. The so-called "ordered departure" notice means the relocation costs will be covered by the government."

If the military is ordering Families out there has to a very creditable bit of intelligence they are acting on.
