I have very dark brown hair and once decided to colour it red. Whoops, bad idea.... It went ginger and I had to colour it every four weeks due to the terrible dark roots.

It eventually took about two years for the red to finally disappear from my hair even though I must have put about 4 black hair dyes on it!

I had to wait for my hair to grow and gradually have it cut out.

I'd love to have some streaks put in my hair, but again, because it's so dark I would have to bleach it and I really don't want to do that.

So some helpful advise for all you girlies.... If you have really dark hair like me and want to go red, be sure you understand it will take years until it finally fades and there is the added danger of you turning ginger. (not that there's anything wrong with you fellow ginger tops)

Oh, I have green eyes, but even they change colour on their own sometimes.... They vary form brown to grey to green. Sometimes they are very light green and other times they are very dark green. Strange

You want some black eyes?!

j/k but I'm sure u knew that.

I never met anyone with black eyes, but I have known people with albino iris and one guy who has huge disformed retinas. He looked alien like with those odd eyes.

Light brown hair, blue-green eyes. Hair is natural. What's the point of this post in this style of forum?

It's a sneaky way of getting tidbits of info about the posters.

My hair is dark brown (almost black). Yes, I do color it now and then, to get rid of the gray (and I'm only in my early thirties! *sigh*). My eyes are light blue, but with a ring of green around the iris. When I get really upset or emotional, they go completely bright green....pretty freaky really...

During the winter I have typically brown hair with a brushing of distinguished grey, in the summer time I make Sgt. Rock look like a long-haired hippie. Too hot for hair in Summertime Alabama.

The eyes are light blue. Well, one is, the other is about 3/4 blue with 1/4 of it brown.

I'm also 6'00" tall, 180 pounds, I like to read, play board games and take long walks on the beach....
Did I get carried away again?

I was in my teens when David Bowie had done Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane and I was tempted to dye my hair; but fear of schoolmates, parents and headmaster dictated otherwise: so it's been reddish-brown (quite blonde as an Estragonino) for ever.
It's a very full head of hair that has never aspired to much of a style beyond too short or too long; but since the big 4-O some grey is creeping in.
Eyes very blue and still don't need spec's (won't be long!!): height 6' 1" (1m 85) and weight 11 stone 4 lbs ( 158 lbs or about 72 kg) - tall, skinny Estragon.

I'm glad that peer pressure ruled the day in a positive fashion, Estragon!

I personally find women with dyed hair unattractive. I can't stop looking at their roots. My hair is best described as "dirty blonde," although it is more blonde now because I just got it cut very short. When I grow my hair out it appears more brown. Just go with what nature gave you...

So am I, T-C but the 70's were still disciplined times for a 15-year old. My daughter (18 now) wanted her ears pierced when she was six! And I acceded only ten years later.
On the otehr extreme, I've always felt that a completely shaven head might be an advantage (as long as one has a good hat); but that's courage, too.
