Where did those replies go?

I've seen complaints from time to time that members don't receive all the relevant notifications, that someone has replied to their post.

In recent months I've been noticed, just occasionally, the problem happening the other way round.
That is, I will click on one of the replies listed in my "replies" box, and then find that the reply in question was actually addressed to someone else altogether.
This happened again just now. See example;

IgnoreDenial replies to me, Slayer69 replies to IgnoreDenial.
Yet BOTH of those responses were given on my list as replies to me.

So perhaps there is a real possibility that reply notifications sometimes go missing because a quirk of the software has directed them to somebody else instead.

I have also had this happen to me a few times. I figures if it happened again, I'd report it, but you have now done that, so no need. Flagged.

To illustrate the point, perhaps;
I have just had a "reply" from Bo Xian which did not turn up on my "replies to" list.
Did anybody else get that one?
