Next time, just pour it in your coffee! Seriously, coffee and stout are the best! I have been known to order a straight up espresso just to add to
my pint o' stout.
And one of my own homebrew creations is actually a coffee stout. Since you make 5 gallons at a time, I use a half-pound of coarse (and freshly) ground
coffee at the end of the boil (in a cheese cloth bag just before chilling the wort). You need to add a little more hops since coffee is bitter but
that is OK. Go through the rest of the steps and you end up with coffee stout!
Hope that big long list of stuff you made turned out (sure it did)!
