I've been feeling a great deal of sadness for Mr. Cruz and his family since this news broke; his fall is epic and can be life-changing for him

Absolutely. Case in point, Tiger Woods. His wife tried to change his face with a golf club.

He should seriously admit to being human and humbled...withdraw from the election...ask people for forgiveness...and work hard to try to save his marriage and his family.

Agreed . If he is guilty of the accusations.
There are so many people that knew him years ago or know him now though that say he just doesn't have the character to think about anyone but himself. I suspect he will try and see it out and will help tear the party apart and hand the election to Hillary rather than admit he is in error and is losing.

I am thinking some staffer rushed into TEDS room at 3am showing him the story... This has been out for hours....

Trumps still rolling around on the floor laughing and screaming yahoo...

Hillary is silently twitching at her reflection remembering her days from bill and Monica

I CANT wait for Trump to throw NAFTA in her face!

How can he do that? One of his own signatures lines of suits makes their products in Mexico. LOL In other words, he's literally benefiting from NAFTA.

There is a difference between making good business decisions - you have to compete with other products made cheaply overseas, and working against the best interests of the people you were elected to serve.

They are not even close to equivalent. Put another way Trump is doing his job correctly in trying to make his business profitable. Hillary is intentionally not doing her job as a senator by voting against the interests of the majority of her constituents.

Like it or not 90% of the time people are motivated by selfishness, it is the way the real world works. It is just as much on the consumers for not buying stuff made in America. Buisinesses give consumers what they want, and time has shown right or wrong consumers want the short term gain of a cheap product over protecting some other Americans job because they are selfish.

The whole point of trade laws is they are supposed to enforce what is in the best interests of the country, nafta was in the best intrests of the wealthy, not the majority of citizens and clearly demonstrates Hillary and the others who support it are corrupt politicians.

Twitter Is Gearing Up To Interfere In The Election

“protecting users from abuse” as an excuse to implement a system that would later be used for political censorship

I'm willing to entertain the idea, but do you have any links other than Breitbart? I do not like to give propaganda sites the clicks if I can help it.

Breitbart is a festering toilet bowl of bull#.

Based upon the body of evidence, I believe he has probably been unfaithful to his wife and has engaged in hypocrisy.
I imagine his wife and kids are going through hell about now...and he probably feels his whole life crashing around him.

I believe he can eventually redeem himself, his life and most of all his family...but he needs to admit to his faults and his lies...and work for a better future for he and his family.

His way to the Presidency is closed now. He may still be able to save his family and his job in the Senate...but it will take more work and wisdom than running for the Presidency.

And that's exactly why a nation consisting of 300+ million individuals isn't a "business."

We have to compete with products made cheaply overseas? Uh - who are we competing with, ourselves?

Trade regulations and legislation such as ALEC, NAFTA, TPP, etc have taken your ideals and twisted them into a way that has made the American economy compete with economies that pay their workers a wage of $0.67/hr. So yes, it's no surprise that jobs will be outsourced - it just so happens that these companies that outsource are often many of the same who are in support of legislation that improves their boon of gain by going overseas, and furthermore protect their interests by further legislation that prevents intervention by any courts of governments.

I don't understand this concept of cut-throat business, it's absolutely ridiculous. Treating our nation as a "business," results in all of us "little people," being seen as nothing more to a means to an end, an ability to inflate the bottom line - which is not what we should be striving for.

Silly little things such as equality, Justice, Liberty, and truth have such little meaning in today's society - and call me what you will, but it'd be a nice to see a shift back towards the things America was founded upon.

I hope he is thinking the same, for his sake.
he should get behind Trump now to try and ensure Hillary is not allowed to set foot in the Whitehouse again.

Depends upon whether he is ruled by his ego...or his love of country. Time will tell.

I'm real curious how Glenn Beck and Mark Levin will deal with this on Monday. I don't usually listen to either...but have to on Monday.

Trump and Cruz both have way too big of an ego. Doubt either would in a situation like this. Given the history on Cruz taking what is better to improve his status over family, expect him to stay in no matter what.

My guess - they'll ignore it and hope it goes away.

I don't know. He's still a human being...and I'm sure he loves his family more than anything.
We've all made mistakes in our lives...done stupid things...and hurt those we love.

This could actually be the catalyst which saves his life...or it could destroy it.

I could feel his pain when his daughter rejected him. He's a father first...and that cut him deeper than anything Trump or anyone else could say to him.

Maybe...but Beck went 'ALL IN' with Cruz...he'll need to explain.

I'm wondering about the hand motion, she was flicking him away, I guess he's hidden the flipping off so she's "flicking him off" instead, essentially telling him to F off. That was painful to watch.

I agree - I don't like Cruz but I genuinely felt sorry for him at that moment. The look on his face was one of pure hurt.

No - they will come out strong to condemn Trump. They will both go with the Cruz narrative.
There is nothing that the assembled army establishment will not do now. Morals will be ignored.

I suspect the hurt was more because the cameras were watching.

Kids get cranky when they are tired. Its possible she was just tired.
But, she did push back against his attention pretty hard.
