MIT scientists: There is an invisible force field protecting Earth



Scientists believe that the enigmatic force field operates on low-frequency electromagnetism, but its source is still a mystery.

Mine, simply puts this as something else we don't know about and yet resembles the theory I have addressed here. No matter what the mutually acceptable answer becomes, what you see outside today, is not how this planet has always been.

As frank as your remarks are, I completely agree, that the earth is not 6000 years old. The Bible depicts a timeline that surrounds one thing alone. The Bloodline of Adam, through to Christ. That is the only DATING that the Bible itself presents.

Now this doesn't neglect the teachings and thoughts promoted by MAN, in constructing an illusional account to become the tenets of the various sects of Christiandom to work with, in developing their own sets of Dogmas, Doctrines and Theologies. 10% of the Sheeples income Tax Free is a powerful incentive and distorting scripture to achieve a bountiful number of People in the Pews, is the goal.

Many things the Church "claim" as Biblical Teachings are at best, misconceptions, if not, outright lies.

There is also the other side of the equation, where in many Churches actually don't dwell on or discuss the Old Testament, unless it is supportive of Prophesy, or a verse here or there, taken out of context, would support a position the Church is pushing at the time. This stems from the "call" of the Church. Jesus Saves. Their is no need to understand the Genesis Account, so the notion of Adam and Eve, being the first people, is easy to say, regardless to the fact that on the 6th Day, Mankind was created and had been here for Millennium prior to the Account of the Farmer, Adam.

I digress. The Point is, the Bible indicates this earth is Older than 6000 years old. It's been here for Ages and Science may actually have estimated that span of time to grasp the Time specific to "In the Beginning".

Now if you are going to quote water, you mean H20, and only H20, that is 100% water. Not deuterated, or tritiated water, not ions and solutes dissolved in it.

SO no, a Kg of water is not a Litre, even at standard temperature (25 degrees Celsius).

At 25 deg C the densiity is 0.9970 g/mL. Thus 1 mL of water is 0.9970g, multiply that by 1000 and do you get 1000? NO.

Deep sigh, classic conspiracy psychology :
1. The world is 6000 years old, so say religion for nigh on 2000 years
2. Along comes science and shows the Earth is 4 billion years old.
3. Denial kicks in, modification of facts to fit the theory kicks in , "oh look" the original biblical interpretation was wrong and it actually matches the science.
4. All the bible thumpers are happy again because their nonsensical belief in creationism can be maintained.

Really sad. The bible is a religious text with some historical references (to maintain credibility with the naive) that has guessed the unknown, like all religious texts do, and got it wrong.

You get conflicting views from pure science too. The anthropologists paleontologists differ with the geneticists who differ with the molecular biologists.

Could you elucidate what these different viewpoints are between anthropologists, geneticists and molecular biologists are? Modern Evolutionary Synthesis is essentially a unifying biological axiom that encompasses all aspects of the Biological and Earth Sciences.

Mostly about time of divergence and which branches connect to where. Last I read, there is still a pretty big debate between equines and canids as the source of water mammals based on bone comparison vs genetic markers. Paleontologists have humans appearing on the plant 2 million years ago while the mitochondrial dating suggests it's less than a million. Protein analysis has suggested that humans have more in common with insects than nematodes, which flies in the face of current 'tree of life'.

I just chalk it up to 'we have a lot more to learn' and 'we're thinking too small and linear.'
