Now that's just weird and makes me think less of Carson. But for this reason.

I don't really believe that Trump is a practicing Christian and neither do any of you. Cruz pretends to be a Christian and may even believe it himself but he's not like Carson... We all KNOW and believe that Carson is a practicing Christian of deep faith. Why wouldn't Carson endorse the person most likely to be a Christian-which is...Cruz over Rubio and Trump and Kasich? I thought that was a big part of Carson? Therefore that endorsement troubles me and leads me to believe that Carson is not the man we thought we knew?

Maybe he does not think religion is a deciding factor when choosing a president.

Yes.

Trump choosing Carson as a VP would devastate Hillary or Bernie.

It will have to be an independent run - Rubio has won Florida by a landslide if the early voting exit polls are right. Kasich will win Ohio. I don't even think Trump will have the most delegates going into a brokered convention (which is now almost certain)

Maybe La Prima Donald made Carson and Christie offers they couldn't refuse

Do you mean the people who have already voted BEFORE today? Big whoop.

Or do you mean so far today? I'm not seeing any exit-poll results for today's voters yet - do you have a link?

I don't think a Trump/Carson ticket would crush Bernie, but it might smite Hillary.

I wasn't all that offended by Christie, either. Perhaps Kasich could run as VP, if he would.

....but does what he chooses to believe really matter?

It absolutely DOES MATTER when it includes a lack of belief in evolution and climate change. Both things are facts. And education needs to reflect those things, not squelch them. The fossil fuel industries will be heavily impacted by any POTUS/VPOTUS who disregards Climate Change - like Rubio does. Evolution is a fact. "Creationism" is an ancient myth, nothing more. Climate change is also a FACT that we need to deal with, regardless of its causes. Whether normal cyclical upheaval or human-activity-based (or exacerbated) - we CAN'T KEEP PILLAGING THE PLANET.

I actually wasn't thinking along those lines

Considering how sheepish and off kilter Christie's been looking - and with Carson (let's face it - who the hell can tell what's going on in there)... just seems odd for them to both be so Drumpfpático all of a sudden

I was thinking a little more horse head in the bed and not so much with the: will work for food

Who knows? Maybe he promised Christie Infrastructure Czar and Carson Top Doc

Or - he just promised he wouldn't hurt them

:-)

People are entitled to their beliefs, not every great "thing" comes from a science book. How would it be bad if someone serving their country as president preferred the Lamarckian model of evolution over Darwin's? It's irrelevant, and if anything it could be enlightening to a degree.

Science advances separately from society. Science is also subject to revolution and revision. What you're saying is akin to condemning Galileo for his beliefs. Science simply is not the ultimate yardstick for judging a man or his philosophy.
