Eric Clapton agrees with you about George Harrison's slide playing. I do too, for what it's worth.

George and Eric hung out together a lot. I guess they must have talked a bit about guitars, and recording.

I was about to post something about this, the Beatles being my first favourite band and have fond memories of being mesmerised just by listening to, when I was only 5 or 6.
Only later one realizes all the hard work that goes on creating music, and all the people involved in some great albums.
