I had rather an unusual marriage proposal the other day...

So a long story shortish. I was single and happy and a friend of mine was struggling with depression and wanted someone special. I suggested that he joined a dating website but he was reluctant so I joined with him just so we could share the experience.

Mrs Nonspecific had just been dumped by her fiance and was looking for a few dates and a few free lunches and nothing more.

You can see where this is going here. Man not looking for a partner meets woman not looking for a relationship within about a week of joining.

Things happened, stuff occoured. there were drama's and incidents and a whole heap of stories.

5 years later and after discussing tying the knot many times and a leap year and then this.

I should point out that I am a tool freak. I love tools and anything that can be used to make something else, it's just the way I am.

I got this wrapped up the other day....




Unconventinal maybe but how could you say no to this...

I was gobsmacked as not only does a truly amazing person want to marry a muppet like me it's a REALLY REALLY nice blade...

60 tooth and fits my table saw and my cross cut saw, I am a little stunned right now and it was 2 days ago.

I would usually concour but you have not met MrsNonspecific.

She is a northern English down to earth say it as you see it gal and a looker taboot.

She puts up with me and has also pointed out that I mispelled proposal in the title.... It begins.

He better bloody not that cost me £40 and he has to make a whole list of furniture with it....

We had talked about it in the past but life always got in the way.

Now she has decided it must be done. Well I suppose I must man up and marry a fantastic person because they asked me to. Such is life...
