The problem I have with the whole "NWO" or "Illuminati" conspiracy is that I have been hearing about them for a very long time, and yet it seems they're still in the planning stage. I first heard about their plan for world domination way back when Reagen was elected, then Bush Sr. mentioned "New World Order" and everyone started talking more about it. I figure if Bush SR was elected 27 years ago and nothing has really changed, we might not have too much to worry about.

Nothing has really changed?

Well a large part has to do with the fact their is no logic to it. Their is no point to a grand plan where nobody who is planning it lives to see it. It also disallows that people or groups of people can topple nations and change the course of history without any grand scheme. People do not like chaos or the idea that anything can happen, so the feel the need to imagine somebody is controlling everything. For some people it is the US for other it is the NWO etc. A world without order frightens people.

I am frightened by the concept of being controlled.

The NWO is real, it exists, the people wanting to instigate it don't all expect to live to see it but do they care? no they are insanely rich and live luxurious lives. They have a goal and they, and their children, seek to fulfil it "whether by consent or conquest we will have a new world order". The rich don't build empires just so they can seat them. Look at history empires are built by fathers and passed onto sons.

It also disallows that people or groups of people can topple nations and change the course of history without any grand scheme

No grand scheme? Global control brought to a select number of fingertips isn't a grand scheme?
They have instigated a Private International Bank, They have supported womens right to work so as to claim the 50% tax they previously couldn't, They will push this FDI Chip until it is accepted by everyone as a "must have" accessory. The list goes on if you take the time to look. They take what they want from you and you smile like simpletons happy to be robbed because the robbers told you it was okay. The IRS has been stealing your money for years, in 1933 they literally took every single piece of gold the public owned under threat of imprisonment. Enjoy the future you will give to your children and their families.

I think they could always do almost anything they wanted, so I guess one big difference is when they do it now you have a big group of people that defend them because they're on "their side" (See pretty much any political topic on this site)

In my opinion, America has pretty much always been at least slightly fascist and authoritarian. There has ALWAYS been somebody nosing around in yours or my business.

I guess after thinking about it, I don't think there is a grand scheme, but a bunch of little ones going on. Someone gets power, gains a little more than he should before he's booted out or whatever, but then the next person in line gets to keep the extra power instead of things going back to how they should have been so he does the same thing and so on

God I hope that ramble makes sense, my brain's on vacation so I can't figure out how to word that right

You are right but in truth no government is on anyone's side. When they help the poor for example, they do it for votes and popularity not out of a sense of kindness. If the rich and influential people of a country (like high ranking politicans and popular celebrities, corporations that declare they have the public interest at heart) were truly on our side homelessness, hunger, suffering would be potentially eliminated world wide. There is enough wealth amongst the rich to help the world and still have enough left over to be considered wealthy. It is vaccums and distances such as the way wealth is heavily distributed to one small segment, and lightly to the larger segment, that show the greed of the "top".

True, but the land of the free it is far from now. How are you free when your children are destined for debt the moment they are born. At some point everyone will be chipped like dogs, they are already pushing it forward through MSM as a fantastic opportunity. After the majority have it the rest will be socially forced to take it. Then the literally control you. There is even technology that you buy for your car and they can shut you down via satellite (cant remember the name).

The grand scheme is a new world order, a machine of political, economical, military proportions focused into single global organisations that control world wide aspects through a pyramid type build. top - Elitists bot - "Unwashed Masses"

The reality of it is, there is no one conspiracy. It's just powerful interests all competing to gain more control, yes there maybe some overlap in shared interests but overall it's complete chaos. No one group or agency is in control.

There ya got it Nate. And the problem as you point it out is more difficult to deal with than the organized and in control PTB that so many are willing to believe in. Give us one enemy and all we have to do is expose them and over throw them. Take down the king pin and they all will crumble. That's childish. No such luck.

As I see it it What we are dealing with here are ages long short sighted conceptions about reality brought about by trying to make sense about this wondrous place in which we find ourselves. There's no one in charge, just some of us thinking we can be and the rest of us looking for some kind of Jack the Giant Slayer.

Yes, the NWO conspiracies are really hard to accept for many people and there are two key reasons as to why: conditioning and fear of truth. People have been conditioned since birth to integrate into the system and accept what it tells them, which makes free, critical thinking much harder.

The "there is no one actually in control" crowd is just disinformation used mostly by people that are too afraid to even entertain the idea that there may be an Elite group of people working together to achieve global goals.

As others have stated already, one thing humans will never freely admit is that they have been the victims of brainwashing.
