Hi all,

I used to have a very odd thing happen to me when I was a child/in my early teens.

I would be having a normal everyday dream when suddenly this strange Fox-man would appear. As soon as I saw him I would be rushed back awake and experience what many people would call sleep paralysis.

Huge bursts of electric energy surged through my body...I couldn't move...I felt fear...heard buzzing.

This happened a fair amount say every month/week..sometimes on consecutive days.

And then it just stopped when I was about 14.

The only way I can describe him was a fox who had the build of a tall man walking on two feet..usually dressed ina mans clothes....he would never speak...
I think about this a lot.

The strange thing is when I was talking to my friend about reoccurring dreams...before I had chance to sure this experience..he basically told me that he had the very same thing happen at around about the same sort of age...I couldn't believe it.

I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience with a fox man entering their dreams?..possibly setting off a sleep paralysis?

I can't ever say I have seen a fox-man but everything else suggests the beginning of astral travel.

Never saw a fox man but for me many sleep paralysis events do begin with a fear.

didn,t you just post this on another thread about sleep paralysis?

I get a similar thing happen to me every now and then. For me I don't see entities but I certainly hear them. I awake to find my body parylised (weirdly my right hand is normally moving slowly of its own accord).

I have rushes of what can only be described as spiritual electrical energy through my body which gets more intense. As it builds and rushes more towards my head I can hear this static like sound buzz which sometimes sounds like a radio being tuned in right by my ear...

The more frightening episodes are when the 'radio' tunes in clearly to something speaking right in my earhole...laughing demonicly...speaking in tounges...sometimes weird poetry...there is always a sense of dread..of evil that I can't describe.

I have only ever had my eyes open once with these experiences oddly enough...and although I didn't see anyone...the room was very dark...darker than I've ever seen it...just about being able to make out drawers and wardrobe etc and when it lifted the darkness just lifted like someone opened the curtains.

I find it happens more when I'm overtired, not been getting much sleep, stressed out, emotional etc. but as I say it only happens every 6 months or so thankfully.

This is Fascinating.
I once in my early 20's had a very unforgettable dream of a cat-man.But he was menacing,i kept safe by staying in a circle made out of symbols, like something from the Supernatural tv series. He kept changing from man to cat,it was the man part i found most menacing, actually.

When i tried on some occasions round 2012 to astral,i would get to a point where i would feel the bed fall away under me,like i was floating on air, then once it went into that vibrating energy thing-felt like every cell in my body was vibrating, like i was this huge powerstation.I never saw the astral through, though.I tried a bit because i wanted to visit with someone on another continent.Always had this feeling though, that it is not safe for me,that i must not.

Never had much sleep paralysis in my life though, only about 3 times, and never in relation to dreams.S+f,interesting

Don't remember, where I read this.. Fox-man/woman is how a trickster is usually depicted.
Oh, Wikipedia has the answers - en.wikipedia.org...
Well, at least for the fox part.

ETA:
There was a time, when I saw the Trickster quite a lot. It was time, when my one of my ex-gf's was cheating on me. The trickster told me this through dreams. First, I didn't couldn't believe, 'cause the Trickster never spoke to me. It appeared in the form of a lady-fox, and a sexy one as well. It showed me - my gf riding another man. Next up, was a little bit of detective work and logical thinking.. Put 2 plus 2 and You get 4. Wasn't funny, but was fun.

The only time I've seen shadow people/creatures they've been regular human shape, but once I did see things that resembled shadow bats flying around but I had just put it off as half dreaming. The one thing that makes me wonder is if it was just me dreaming while my eyes had opened them why is it that 99% of people who experience this always only see shadows? If it is dreaming then why don't we see some kind of details at least so they look half real and not always shadows. All to similar to think it is people still dreaming.

And yes nowanmai dreaming that your girl is cheating on you is not fun but interesting at the same time. Me I've always dreamt about specific serial killers when I do, happened a few times and unfortunately they had been cheating every time I did.
