No, it's proof that people love a good witch hunt and don't vet a single damned thing they post. It's also proof that people love their outrage, except when it comes to things that they should actually be outraged about....but yeah, let's not let facts get in the way or anything.

It's just a dolphin people.

Where is all this faux outrage when kids are being washed ashore deceased on beaches around the Med on a weekly basis.

There's 7,000,000,000 people on this planet.

We are not rare or endangered.

Curious to see if some of you that were saying people should be killed for this will respond.

Pesky facts getting in the way of a good story.....

Not so much (as evidenced by the fact that the faux outrage continues unimpeded, even in this very thread)....

‘The water was very hot,’ he said. ‘It was full of jellyfish and people were not going in the water. Everything happened in five minutes. It was washed up already dead. They took it back to the water but it wouldn’t go back out.’

Sureeeee there's nobody in the water in that image

It doesn't say no one was in the water.
I've seen some people in the water, even when there were a ton of jellyfish...many others don't risk it though.

Guess the video of the [basically dead] dolphin in that link just escaped you, huh?
Oh, I get it....gotta hold onto that outrage.

Carry on.

The Dolphin was dead already..In a universe trillions upon trillions of light years wide and as far as we are aware we are the only living things ever, i would say we ARE as a species, rare and endangered in the grand scheme of things.

No it says people were not going in the water, yet in the photo there's people in the water

so there's either people going in the water like in the photo, or there's people not going in the water like the dolphin murderer says

I think I'll believe my eyes over the words of a killer

Also regards to "basically dead" it's either dead or it's not, there's no "basically" about it so what is it ?

LOL...."the dolphin murderer".

Yes, something can be "basically dead", as in dying...not doing so well, not so healthy, you know...that type of thing.
It wasn't completely dead in that video (in the link) but it wasn't a healthy, lively creature either. It was dying (for whatever reason) and the fact that when placed in the water and urged to swim (by those "murderers") it rolled over like it did and didn't swim off is proof of that....but again, you just carry on with your faux outrage, makes no difference to me really.

Who or what endangers us ? apart from ourselves

Big ass space rocks?

So it wasn't dead when they handled it, perhaps it was dying because it was being suffocated out of the water, they murdered it and all took photos to revel in their destruction afterwards

You can't have something that is alive and call it dead until it's you know... dead, I guess anybody who's on live support is dead too, may as well turn them off and stop wasting electricity because they're "basically" dead right, you know not doing so well, better yet let's call anyone with a broken bone dead too because they're not doing so well either, got the flu ? You're dead too. It's no wonder you're in favour of these monster when you have such a broad definition of what constitutes as dead

Space rocks ? Those endanger everything not just humans so doesn't really count as it's space nature, unless it has been purposeful launched at us by giant space bugs from Klendathu

Still more plausible than thinking this dolphin wasn't already dying.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you probably wouldn't make a very good Life Guard/Surf Lifesaver.

A human is drowning/has drowned - you pull them out and choose not to give CPR because they're "already dying".

Either that's what you're getting at here - which again makes you a horrible person - or you simply do not value the life of the Dolphin enough to warrant the effort of trying to save it's life.

Either way you cut it - it's a messed up mindset.

Well, I never said I was nice or a lovely person, now did I?
Actually, it has nothing to do with whether or not I "value the life of the dolphin" and everything to do with the witch hunt that faux outrage like this induces. Emotional stories like this don't just draw me in all the time, sorry.

How exactly would you "save" the dolphin's life?

...and for the record, take most of what I've said in this thread with a bit of salt, I've been taking the p*ss with the emotionally outraged just a bit here, so....

I dont care if it was dying, I am still going to tactically nuke everyone involved. I already invested this much rage, all I can do is double down now!

Of course people can act stupid and inadvertently cause harm in their selfish pursuits
But to condemn others for their stupidity is failure to see one's own

Like some animal activists that threaten violence against those they oppose

Try not to trip over that ego.

I don't care that the dolphin was dead. The selfie craze is narcissistic and indicative of how mentally ill our society has become.
