Sept 11th 2001: Jeb, Hillary, warnings must be heard to prevent National Tragedies

In the last Republican debate Donald Trump attacked George W Bush for not acting promptly to prevent September 11th 2001, in response to the claims of safeness of his brother and Candidate Jeb Bush.

Both Politicians exchanged interesiting claims on a topic that is particularly painful in the memory of America. Marco Rubio tried also to wash the hands of Bush by splashing all the responsibility to the Clinton Administration ended on January of 2001.

Thousands of victims of that terrible coward attack deserve that the truth must be openly discussed. It is time to also explore if the authorites acted really proficiently, not because we are in electoral debate, but since History must teach us something, otherwise is a useless mental exercise.

Here a list of some warnings before the tragedy:

1) In late 2000, British intelligence learned that three Afghan men that entered illegally to Cayman Islands were overheard discussing hijacking attacks in New York City, and were promptly taken into custody. This information was forwarded to US intelligence [Fox News, 5/17/02]

2) In late August 2001, shortly before the attacks, an anonymous letter to a Cayman radio station alleged three afghanian men in those islands were al-Qaeda agents “organizing a major terrorist act against the US via an airline or airlines.” [Miami Herald, 9/20/01]

3) In late July 2001, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Wakil Ahmed Muttawakil learned that Osama bin Laden was planning a “huge attack” on targets inside America. He sent an emissary to pass this information on to the US Consul General, and another US official, “possibly from the intelligence services.” His message was received, but supposedly not taken very seriously, because of “warning fatigue” arising from too many terror warnings. 4) Late July 2001, the US was given a “concrete warning” from Argentina’s Jewish community. “An attack of major proportions” was planned against either the US, Argentina, or France. The information came from an unidentified intelligence agency. [Forward, 5/31/02]

5) An undercover agent from Morocco successfully penetrated al-Qaeda. He learned that bin Laden was planning “large scale operations in New York in the summer or fall of 2001.” He provided this information to the US in August 2001. [Agence France Presse, 11/22/01, International Herald Tribune, 5/21/02, London Times, 6/12/02]

6) Hosni Mubarak, President of Egypt, by early September 2001 reported that Egyptian intelligence warned American officials that al-Qaeda was in the advanced stages of executing a significant operation against an American target, probably within the US. [AP, 12/7/01, New York Times, 6/4/02] He learned this information from an agent working inside al-Qaeda. [ABC News, 6/4/02]

7) 1999, British intelligence gave a secret report to the US embassy. The report stated that al-Qaeda had plans to use “commercial aircraft” in “unconventional ways,”“possibly as flying bombs.” [Sunday Times, 6/9/02]

8) On July 16, 2001, British intelligence passed a message to the US that al-Qaeda was in “the final stages” of preparing a terrorist attack in Western countries. [London Times, 6/14/02] In early August, they gave another warning, telling the US to expect multiple airline hijackings from al-Qaeda. This warning was included in Bush’s briefing on August 6, 2001. 9) In June 2001, German intelligence warned the US, Britain, and Israel that Middle Eastern terrorists were planning to hijack commercial aircraft and use them as weapons to attack “American and Israeli symbols which stand out.” Within the American intelligence community, “the warnings were taken seriously and surveillance intensified” but “there was disagreement on how such terrorist attacks could be prevented.” This warning came from Echelon, a spy satellite network that is partly based in Germany. 10) Late July 2001: Egyptian intelligence received a report from an undercover agent in Afghanistan that “20 al-Qaeda members had slipped into the US and four of them had received flight training on Cessnas.” The Egyptians passed the message to the CIA, fully expecting Washington to request information. “The request never came.” [CBS, 10/9/02] Given that there were 19 hijackers and four pilots (who trained on Cessnas) in the 9/11 plot, one might think this would now be a big news item. The information has only appeared as an aside in a CBS “60 Minutes” show about a different topic.

11) In late summer 2001, Jordan intelligence intercepted a message stating that a major attack was being planned inside the US and that aircraft would be used. The code name of the operation was Big Wedding, which did in fact turn out to be the codename of the 9/11 plot. The message was passed to US intelligence through several channels. 12) Russian President Vladimir Putin: He ordered his intelligence agencies to alert the US in the summer of 2001 that suicide pilots were training for attacks on US targets. [Fox News, 5/17/02] The head of Russian intelligence also stated, “We had clearly warned them” on several occasions, but they “did not pay the necessary attention.” [Agence France-Presse, 9/16/01] The Russian newspaper Izvestia claimed that Russian intelligence agents knew the participants in the attacks, and: “More than that, Moscow warned Washington about preparation for these actions a couple of weeks before they happened.” [Izvestia, 9/12/02]

13) September 6th 2001, priest Jean-Marie Benjamin was told by a Muslim at an Italian wedding of a plot to attack the US and Britain using hijacked airplanes as weapons. He immediately passed what he knew on to a judge and several politicians in Italy. Presumably this Muslim confided in him because he has done considerable charity work in Muslim countries. ” [Zenit, 9/16/01] This could have come from a member of the al-Qaeda cell in Milan, Italy. [Los Angeles Times, 5/29/02, ] In August 2000, a terrorist in Milan was recorded saying to another: “I’m studying airplanes. I hope, God willing, that I can bring you a window or a piece of an airplane the next time we see each other.” [Washington Post, 5/31/02]. In January 2001, a terrorist asked if certain forged documents were for “the brothers going to the United States,” and was angrily rebuked by another who told him not to talk about that “very, very secret” plan. [Los Angeles Times, 5/29/02] In March 2001, the Italian government gave the US a warning based on these wiretaps. [Fox News, 5/17/02]

14) August 2001, 2 high-ranking agents from the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, came to Washington and warned the CIA and FBI that 50 to 200 al-Qaeda terrorists had slipped into the US and were planning an imminent “major assault on the US” aimed at a “large scale target” [Telegraph, 9/16/01, Los Angeles Times, 9/20/01, Ottawa Citizen, 9/17/01 Fox News, 5/17/02]. Near the end of August, France also gave a warning that was an “echo” of Israel’s. [Fox News, 5/17/02]

There is also a research work carried out by Journalist Kurt Eichenwald, who has a column in the New York Times and he published in his book 500 days secret and lies on terror wars.

His personal investigation on the topic contains the following claims about warnings that were released by the American Intelligence and were supposedly ignored by the White house:

On May 1 2001 the CIA said that a terrorist group in the U.S. was planning an attack.

On June 22 2001 it warned that this attack was "imminent."

On June 29 2001 the brief warned of near-term attacks with "dramatic consequences" including major casualties.

On July 1, 2001 the briefing said that the terrorist attack had been delayed but "will occur soon."

On July 24, 2001 the president was told again that the attack had been delayed but would occur within months.

Well, if a decent course of logic would be a mandatory subject to be taken to acquire voting rights in America, I think many people would not be even wasting money to sponsor or their time working in certain campaigns and for certain candidates.

The sad reality is that we live in an Amnesic society, where the role of the media is many times to apply a very effective collective hypnosis treatment precisely to erase any recollection about certain facts in the mind of electors.

What is the antidote the giant brain washing machine that tells us in hundreds of repetitions every day what we must think on certain key topics? it is History my friend, good knowledge of it.

In reality we shouldn't even really worry about the official "rules" or even knowing the name of the person who is "in charge".

It really is irrelevant anyways.

We should focus on living and on art and science and try not to get eaten.

Instead we waste our valuable time fretting and arguing about who is going to be our imaginary "leader".

No. It's just men killing things, other animals.
People with magical thinking and judgement on their minds.

The way to prevent tragedy? Keep ideologies in church where they belong in their tax havens... while the corporate puppets reducing adults to children to beg for rights keep the buying out of America in theirs? Wait what? Power to the people then and now, hey thats you and me... We THE People

Well Dear BigBrotherDarkness,

It could be a useful advising, but anyway in pragmatical terms the role of the national and international security agencies is to monitor any potential danger and they were not the ones that failed in 9 11, that is pretty clear.

Until now with just the two studies I have already disclosed our list of warnings so far is reaching a number of 20 that came to the White house and that didn't move any special alert on airports that might be prevented the Tragedy.

How can somebody claim that the people on the oval office were doing right their job to assure safeness? what kind of quality standards can support such a claim?

Cant prevent tragedy with a blissful smile on ones face with 8 years of a rocking economy... when everyone felt safe and secure before hand, they were more warning investors to start buying stock for the feast of spoils of war to follow the agenda, imhumbleho and I didnt bite any of the dung sandwich being passed around then nor now

This is a repeat of the 1960's and it doesnt have to be but they want it to be because they knew exactly how to control that or so they thought from experience. 15 sold years of war has lasted longer and has costed us way more than mammon ever could.

Not to mention it's a parallel of looking for some Jesus/god like character to combat the evils of blissful sheep unaware they are sheep, while dancing to a ton of techno music with a part time job of freeing slaves.

How anyone accepts that as their reality? Psychosis... yeah there are lots of real world parallels, and lots of tropes that cause ones subconscious to react strongly too that can result in the delusion as an alternate reality; but no not reality.

There is here a powerful metaphore, in reality the people in general represent the market that is being used by powerful organizations to predate economically, without the public consumption they can't continue with their activities, but at the same time they are polluting minds with ideas that are clearly manipulated to favor great political interests.

The Propaganda machinery through the media is investing millions to make the American believe an alternative version of History, something that lives in the kingdom of mythology, since it never occurred really in the way they claim.

For Instance the Bush and Clinton Campaigns are basing their strategies to portrait the Bill Clinton and George Bush Administrations as perfect, as the time in which we were all living in the wonderland.

Let me explain a little more in detaiils how is that the parable of The Matrix runs here:

The media is all the technology that is used to wash constantly our brains with the "information" , that it is manufactured by few people that are really trying to rule the world with their terrible ambition for power. The Matrix is the propaganda machinery, and we are all attached to it through the massive communication that take place in the media and the internet.

There is enough evidence when you perform a serious analysis of the Historic records that contradicts the claim that the white house guaranteed the safeness against Terrorism all the time, the terrible tragedy of September 11th 2001 is the classic example.

The Number of warnings that were received by the top functionaries of the federal administration from the American Intelligence agencies and from many more abroad is overwhelming.

There is no way what so ever to justify ethically that the national alert system was never activated to prevent passengers in general, airlines and airports of the huge risk that was running for weeks and it was being known by the President and his advisers.

We are going to review along the following weeks up to the day of the election their entire number, but for what I have seen just at glance in preliminary inquiries I have carried out we could be talking about around possibly a number in between 50 to 100 warnings that were underestimated or just ignored by people inside the White House.

Indeed thats is a lot of how the world works governments propaganda is like religion even when it contains religion... and there's so many hot buttons to push on people to get them stirred to action or distracted from taking it... this goes on in virtually every country in various forms... slant, bias, extremes... anything and everything to maintain and hold power away from the people they are supposed to represent... making corporations people and allowing their voice to displace ours is what has me looking at this election... as finally someone running that wants to give power to the people and make sure our taxes benefit us directly and our surplus and trade help the rest of the world do the same.

It's madness, that people think they will get a slice when 97% of the country is monetarily worth less than 500k what was the avg house price before the 2007-08 housing bubble burst in suburbia? Edging on 200k. It's obvious fudging numbers or cooking the books is going on somewhere or else no one doing the accounting knows what the hell they are doing.

Just to be very clear, nobody denies that there where warning before the attack, this is not really something that is debated.

Whilst it is true there were multiple warnings there was not a specific warning that said on 9/11/01 these planes will be hijacked and flown into these buildings by these people (at least based on public information). With hindsight being 20/20 and all that, yes if they had headed the warnings then perhaps the attacks could have been prevented however in the pre-9/11 world the idea that a American airliner could be hijacked was almost laughable. When we look at these kind of warnings we have to keep in mind that our views towards security before 9/11 are very different to today.

Additionally although i agree there were multiple warnings I think the OP has to be very careful in the sources used, in the imidate aftermath of 9/11, much like most large terrorist attacks the media were publishing all kinds of crap just to get readers/viewers. A classic case of this regarding 9/11 for example was the BBC's mistaken report that many of the hijakers were alive.

The sources of these reports of warnings are here mentioned in a way anybody can trace then and see the level of seriousness of their claims.

Now, I don't know if you couldnt be aware of anything like this attack in advance, but you can confirm reading History accounts in 1993 there was another attempt of Bin Landen to bomb the towers of the World trade center, so it was not so much difficult to identify possible targets of what he was planning in 2000 and 2001. It does not require paranormal distant viewing at all to estimate the likelihood of something occurring there again.

30) February 26, 1993: a truck bomb was detonated below the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The 1,336 pounds (606 kg) urea nitrate–hydrogen gas enhanced device was intended to send the North Tower (Tower 1) crashing into the South Tower (Tower 2), bringing both towers down and killing tens of thousands of people. Even if the government considered exaggerated the reports of actual capability of Alqaeda to carry out an air attack, that was clearly mentioned in the warnings, the principal cities of the country , like New York or Washington DC could have been prepared for something, the entire country should be under National Security alert since at least weeks before.

This perhaps may have never prevented the first strike on one of the towers of the world trade center, but would have had ready an entire special antierrorist force to affront any possible attack with technical resources that were not available in September 11th 2001.

Volunteers were trying to refrain a cataclysimic event that required extremely well skilled, trained and tested professionals prepared in reserve to act immediately. The magnitude of the Trajedy was not solely caused by the attack itself but by the lack of a specialized response to it.

Thousands of extra antiterrorist firemen could be ready to deal with this particular kind of provoked fires or explosions, with any explosive as powerful as airplane fuel, people with enough expertise, extra helicopters and paramedicals to affront a major national emergency.

The same can be said of to have had already prepared a prompt air force reaction to stop the attack saving at least one of the towers and the humiliation to have the Pentagon also struck by an alien force first time in History ever.
