I just thought this was kind of cool. Could have posted it in a lot of other categories but I figured here most people would see it... It is the ISS crossing in front of the sun.

If it's passed that close to the sun, or at least anywhere near it. Have they found out what effects solar flares have on its intruments? Or even it's structure?

do you have a link stating that is the ISS?

They look like huge sunspots to me.

Here is an article about it, stating it is in fact the ISS.

SUN TRANSIT: What's that T-shaped black mark on the sun? Not a sunspot. It's the silhouette of the International Space Station.

German astronomer Torsten Edelmann photographed the rare transit on June 10th near his home in Landsberg. "The velocity of the station (17,500 mph) was impressive," says Edelman. "It crossed the sun in just a split second." See the video: real-time (450 kB) or slow-motion (90 kB).
